How fast is her rap in Kings Raid? It sounds fast but I don't think it was fast but she has this really unique way of delivering a rap line that makes you pull to her
This rap list would be incomplete without Suga😏 No doubt if Suga is in the list because he always has best rap verse in every BTS songs or in his solo songs. He is really an Underground Rapper✨😌
3:21 ... my name...I got jumpscared, I didnt knew I was the highest score, After seing the video I can confirm that the songs that I gave a high score are in my playlist and I have been listening to them dialy or weakly :D
That's misinformation spread by journalists who didn't research & then accounts who publicized it further. He's never hit that number in a song. (The incorrect number you're referring to is 11.13sps)
Hi, idk if you’ll respond but I’ll just ask here anyway because you seem to know a ton about Kpop rappers & I wanted to hear your opinion. Do you think language barrier heavily affects how people perceive the quality of rap? I’m asking because for instance, most Korean rap fans I’ve seen in KHH communities say Suga is unlistenable as a rapper, though most international fans rank him as one of the best rappers in Korea.
Yes. But also no ... Yes, because there are a lot of hyped up kpop rappers who are very mid when you factor in lyrical quality.. like Suga is definitely not the best rapper in Korea like Kpop fans claim, but he *is* very good compared to other kpop rappers. HOWEVER, a lot... and I mean A LOT of western hiphop fans will literally hype up a song with horrible .. just horrible lyrical quality because it sounds cool so, it happens everywhere. The other thing to keep in mind is that KHH fans tend to have a very big *I'm better than you* mindset when talking about rap. So I do often take their initial opinions with a grain of salt. Khiphop rapping is 100% "better" than Kpop rapping in general, but generalizing, a lot of KHH fans will jump extremely quick to talk down on a rapper if they know they're from the Kpop scene.
@@carkpop That's a fair point about KHH fans being very... conservative about rating idol rappers. They have these very specific standards that each rapper needs to achieve to be considered one of the bests (rap technique, hit songs, "masterpiece" full album, influence over the KHH scene etc.) which makes sense I guess but I think it's a little funny. But the thing is the same KHH fans still like/acknowledge idols who they think are good, like Zico, Mino and Bobby, along with a few others who get less mentions. And while they don't say the BTS rapline are the top 5 idol rappers or anything, I have seen them compliment RM and J-Hope saying they're better rappers than Suga, so it's not that they hate BTS as a whole. I tend to listen to all genres casually, so I always thought the difference between Suga's reputation as a rapper in Korea vs. abroad was interesting.
I studied music (specifically drumming and rhythms) wijth a private instructor growing up; and honestly just applied my knowledge in that over to rap which surprisingly not many people have done. Everything else (lyrics, language, rhyme, delivery) all comes from listening to way way too much of Kpop rapping and being able to compare to the majority of other raps in Kpop I've heard.
I know you said on stream you haven't enjoyed Oh My Girl since Nonstop, but I think you should give the Dear Oh My Girl mini album a chance, it might be my favorite mini album of all time just in terms of sheer consistency and quality and I don't consider myself a stan.
