@jonesthesteam Yeah, my friend drove that at the Welland rally. Looks a lovely engine from what I've seen of it, though I haven't done anything with it yet.
@@SteamPowerMadness It’s a great engine. It was one of the most powerful engines that I have driven. I had a ride in a Sentinel steam wagon last weekend which was a very powerful engine but the boiler is in the centre of the footplate so it was a strange ride compared to others that I have had.
@@SteamPowerMadnessstill can't find a smooth run with a larger cylinder than yours...there must be a different proporsional setting with a larger cylinder....
Thanks, but I can't really make instructions. I don't have the pieces to make a second, and disassembling this one would mean it would never be rebuilt properly. Thank you for your support though, I appreciate it! :)
You need a very heavy flywheel with high gearing. Also, I have put oil in the cylinder and valve, and cut friction tabs in the valve too. That said, it could be that I was pumping it fast
Yes. We bought it in the back of a 1992 Ford Cardinal hearse as a bit of fun 😅. Look up "DEAD QUICK Hearse" on RU-vid for more. The other videos are before we owned it though.
@@SteamPowerMadness so i was looking into putting one in my boat. But ive measured up this evening and the engine may be slightly too big. But any contacts or info is always useful when building something crazy haha
