Idk about Splatoon 3 bc I haven’t played that much but the point was for weapons like bamboozler so it wouldn’t one shot so having one extra slot of if saved you by like 0.2 health which is a big deal also reduces bomb damage a bit from the ink left over which causes a chunk of damage when in ink

1 sub would do nothing. A full set is the best way to use it. It does not allow you to just feed it enables you to take risks when you’re jumping in instead of walking back from spawn. The goal when you play something like tetras is to get trades and let this cover for you when the risk doesn’t pay off. Additionally, assists don’t count as a kill so you can get 20 assists and still benefit from respawning.

A hint for who want to pass shadow link easly, is just use Din's fire, but be sure the magic bar is full, you could also beat the 3-4 first "levels" of shadow link and after use Din's fire
