What if my tv has Amazon prime or Netflix, so it becomes a "source", do I need to run another hdmi cable from the tv eArc port to lets say HDMI input 4 for audio? Let's say I have an active HDMI cable from output 1 to my tv, so that cable is "one way".
This matrix switcher would only be needed for external sources. When routing the eARC audio signal for internal TV apps, we suggest you don't route it back to the matrix switcher; instead, connect it directly to your AVR, Distributed audio Audio System, or Sound Bar.
@@avproedge thank you! What if my audio system only has 1 hdmi eArc port? Can I link all my external sources with this matrix switcher and from my tv eArc port, link it to my audio system. Will all the external sources audio link smoothly with the audio system?
No, this solution uses a packet transfer method that doesn't allow it to go through a switch. But we will continue to produce more solutions around USB 3 and USB 4 that will allow for more robust features so stay tuned!
Is there a video I can find that actually explains what is happening to the pixels or how the pixels are utilized to change from one resolution to another?
Great device but I was hoping to see some details about VRR handling. Can a VRR signal be fed into multiple displays and if so, does downscaling and FRL rate manipulation still work? Can a 4K AVR be fed bitstream HDMI audio by this unit when the input signal is 4k120/144 VRR?
This is such a top tier video. I'm going projector so I'm redoing my speaker layout and this is just more great info from Mr. Grimani that will help make my system sound BEAST!!!! Thanks!
Request if any one can help me with some advice : I have a Bose soundbar 700 . I have a Klipsch subwoofer SW350( self powered). I want to connect soundbar to the sub. I am trying to connect through wire. I am using 3.5mm RCA for soundbar our and RCA in for sub as provided. ..no luck. The sub seems getting sound as I can feel lightly on skin but can say that it's not working. Used the same RCA cable my phone's audio jack., I am getting a solid thump. Why I am not getting this from Bose soundbar. ? Need help here. I did use Bose app. The app is not helping to add the sub. Nothing is detected.
38:25 Anthony prefers 9.x.2 over 9.x.4 for smaller rooms. On forums I see most people having a different opinion, favoring 5.x.4 over Rear or Wide speakers. I wonder what other people think on upgrade paths and what Anthony's prefers too 48:10.
Thanks for teaching from abc I’m a lumagen fan, it is fantastic improving video image, more like cinema feel and real On comparison, with and without, then you know why lumagen cost that much and still loved by film lover
2:09:24 When using DSPeaker Anti-Mode the manual says to measure and calibrate both or all four subs at the same time, not individually. What are pros and cons of using the method prescribed here by Mr. Grimani and that of DSPeaker? The room shown here looks like mine except flipped left to right and I have a further complication of a 2/5 opening between the far left side and the kitchen. The length the kitchen adds to the room adds new room modes almost precisely on top of two of the worst of them.
I am so glad i found you guys. Thank you for your experiences and professionalism. This is the first time i have received such a clear and precise explanation as to the process. I definitely would be interested in future classes. Thank you.
Excellent videos! A wealth of knowledge. Would it be possible to get Anthony in for a talk on how to treat "small" rooms in the UK? Anthony talks of 100m3 being a small room. My lounge is 36m3 😂 thats a normal size lounge in regular houses in cities here. Sofa only 0.5m from the back wall. I know treatment is different for rooms like that. Not sure how to deal with diffusion, if at all? Do we just absorbed, etc? A video covering small rooms like that would be fantastic and help so many people in the uk and Europe :)
A lot of bullshit is spread here. Professional installers from the home theater sector have made a lot of tests here and gained a lot of experience in practice. It is absolute nonsense to install the front speakers at 22 instead of 30 degrees.
Maybe this is where front wide channels come into play? Given that 50 degrees of viewing angle is already on the wider side of things, how could L and R channels ever be behind the screen?
Doesn't this all depend on if the mix on the disc or stream itself is made to the standard? I've run into may films that do not play correctly at refence at all, either too quiet or way too loud. This takes into mind dialnorm settings as well. This has become more problematic with remixed audio and even on some new films that are boosted way too loud, almost like when loudness is applied to CDs.
Amazing video! What control system are they using on that project, looks like C4? and how are the camera streams coming in, from an NVR or direct feed from the camera?
Isn't the most ideal set-up of Front LCR a equilateral one? Meaning the front left and front right are the same distance from each other as the Centre speaker is from the MLP? and the angle is 60 deg between MLP and front right & front left?
