Wow this is cool, but I watched another video, and I noticed ginger and garlic and was added, but in yours, it wasn't added I would like to know if it's a must or just a choice
What kind of seasoning cubes did you use? Also for boiling the chicken would I simply do so in water until cooked or should I boil it in the same liquid after I remove the fish?
I used chicken seasoning. For the chicken you have to boil with spices. For the chicken you have to season with curry powder, Dried thyme, salt, seasoning cube, bay leaves, ginger powder, diced onions. For 1kg chicken you can season with 1 seasoning cube, ½ teaspoon salt, 1 medium sized onions, ½ table spoon ginger powder, ½ table spoon curry powder, ½ table spoon dried thyme. 1-2 crushed garlic(optional) There are other ingredients that you could use, but these are the basics
No we do not choke on them. For adults, because we know that there are bones in the fishes, we remove them while eating. For our kids we remove the bones before they start eating. And as they grow up, we teach them how to remove the bones while eating. What matters is ensuring that the fishes do not scatter in the soup, that way, the bones can be easily removed.
Have been looking for this soup since 1991...had it in FGC idoani, its was served to boarding house students with eba. Never had it since then. until i saw it few months ago on IG and now after getting the seeds, am learning how to cook it here.
