Hello! I’m Juliana Michaels and I’m so happy you’re here!
I grew up loving art, crafting and photography thanks to a creative mother who loved to paint, sew and draw. I love color, texture, trying new techniques and playing with new products. The products I play with are the main source of my inspiration.
I look forward to helping you love to create by sharing my mixed media card making and paper crafting tutorials with you and I'd love for you to subscribe to my channel!

Such a beautiful card - simple embellishments on a beautiful background. I always learn so much from your tutorials - both in terms of design and technique. Thank you! ❤
When Tim showed your card on his release day, I was like "OOOOOOH" so pretty! Thanks for teaching in a way that clearly explains how you did it and what it should look like at each stage. I love the look, but struggle to achieve it.
Awesome sauce ✌🏽 I appreciate u explaining it more in depth! Also…I don’t go on FB, so thanx for that! And thanx for the reminder for u and Mary’s class! (I need a calendar for RU-vid, to help me remember everything, all these lives going on and all 😉) See ya soon!
@@josephbickerton2335 You have to use Alcohol Blending Solution. I was just dealing with that issue myself this past weekend and discovered that this is a must when working with them.
Absolutely Beautiful Juliana. For some reason the back ground looks really crisp and clear. Just beautiful. I will order the flower/w die and spritz from you. I've ordered 2 times already, I was just going to get hodge podge, but during the live I order 3 more stamp. I saw your flower with Distraction, now I want the flower with the die of course. Thankyou for your inspiration.
New subscriber here. I’m so enjoying watching you and your teaching style. I use a lot of Tim’s products, but not all the time so I am grateful that your videos remind me how to xx
This card was one of my favorite creations from last Saturday. I loved your tutorial and I never fail to learn something from you. Thank you for sharing Juliana.
Thank you, Juliana, for another really fun video! I enjoyed seeing your projects in Tim’s live this past weekend! What an absolutely crazy live, you guys made so, so many cards! I didn’t know about the new alcohol ink colors, did Tim do a video on them? I love seeing your swatch book, it’s so nice & organized! I’m amazed at the possibilities that exist for these inks, your cards are all so pretty! Have a great week! Erica❤
You don’t want to inhale the resin as it will stick to the tissues in your lungs. Uck! (So no straws or spraying.) But safe enough with good ventilation and some common sense care.
J, thanks so much for showing the new colors! Seeing them against your other swatches was very helpful to me. I would note that I have and use the conair brush dryer bottom with my inks - I think it’s different from the handheld puffer the way a MISTI is from a stamp-a-ma-jig - you can move the inks with the puffer and stamp with the stamp-a-ma-jig, but boy it’s easier to move the inks with that little blower and stamp on a MISTI!! My 2 cents. I really liked those two tricks with the hickory smoke archival, too. Had no idea about that color OR that use for pressure!! TFS.
@@99zanne thanks for sharing your thoughts on that tool! I may “need” to get one and try it out because the MISTI definitely changed my stamping game for the better!
Thank you for sharing these techniques. I am excited for the new colors. Question: Do you have a link to your alcohol dispenser bottle? Your bottle looks so much easier to control the flow than mine.
I’ve had it forever and don’t know the brand. This is similar to what I’m using: shrsl.com/4m9by I am planning to switch to a needle dispenser for even more control.
Great ideas, the smoosh onto the colors on paper, and using just one color! I subscribed! I also like the idea of working with one spot of ink at a time. I am going to try that. I love to use the backgrounds in my die cutting, especially flowers.
I just ordered most of those stamps and I already have the watercolor pencils & spritz, so I'm going to save this to watch again when I get my order. Thanks for the inspiration.
Fantastic tutorial, as always. Talking through your design process and the detailed explanations are so helpful, particularly with more complex techniques like the rust. Thank you!
