Thanks for the video. I've owned the 650 for about 25 years and it still runs great. Always used ECHO oil and never had the carb worked on or changed the plug. Never replaced the filter but have blown it out with an air compressor. They just don't make them like this anymore. Great find!
Wife and I are building on some land in Fortville and I’m needing to build some ponds and move a bunch of topsoil and sand for turtle and tortoise enclosures… might hire you for some work….? I’ll hit you up on Facebook!
I bought three of the Bauer grinders on sale, two of the smaller 7 amp ones for like 13 bucks and the one you have for I think 24.99 or something. I like having one grinder with a paddle wheel, one with a cut off, and another with a regular grinding wheel. They have all done their job well, the smaller grinders you gotta take your time cutting through thick stuff but they ain’t bad. Great video you *almost* sold me on the herc.
Thanks for watching and your comment! Yes having them set up so you don’t have to change wheels in the middle of a job is definitely the way to go! Appreciate you! Have a great day and be safe!
Good to know these differences. The Bauer is almost half the price with current discount making it a great deal, but for the time being I'm happy with my $9 grinder as a hobbyist. :D
got the 40V and it's good enough for me but harbor freight said they might be discontinuing it. I got it for $64 because it was an open box but brand new. At first it worked great, then started to bog down until I realized that I had hit a cement block with the chain a few times and it just dulled it. I got my atlas 10 inch pole saw out and it worked great because it wasn't dull. I love these tools because I can use the same battery for both saws and a hedger and a weed eater, no more pulling on ropes and trying to get the damn thing started with all the smell and I love it that they are not super loud
@@fredgarv79 awesome! Thanks for watching and your comment! I agree they are a very good saw to have around a house or small acreage property, very useful. The gas and oil starting issues can’t be solved any easier than this either! Best of luck with yours! Appreciate you! Have a great day and be safe!
Most folks don’t realize that hydraulics is a black magic dark art type of thing and it almost always takes a certain amount of guesswork and trial and error to get stuff to work unless you’re a certified mechanic. I grew up on a ranch and I remember many times my father literally pulling his hair out because we couldn’t figure out what was wrong with a certain piece of equipment! 😂 it’s funny now but I assure you that was NOT the case at the time! Kudos for having the guts and fortitude to work through the problem on camera, all with your wife by your side, this is the pioneer spirit that made this country, god bless you and yours and good luck with your future endeavors! 🇺🇸🙏💪👊👍
good video and job i have never seen a coolant filter. must have baking soda in it. i am sure they worked. we had cars and trucks we put texco anti freeze in and it eat the gaskets up. take care, be safe and well.
@@johnwoody4905 I had no idea there were coolant filters either. After seeing it and then looking up why it was there I definitely wanted to get it replaced. No holes in the cylinder liner for me please. Have a great day and be safe!
Do not use that hydraulic fluid in the trans, the tch that is is equivalent to the superceded fluid for case hytrans farm fluid. Case construction tch is different! The construction tch from a construction dealer is very expensive but it is the old school fluid and protects the organic clutches on these old machines. The farm dealer will tell you it mo longer exists but it does only thru case construction dealer and on the internet. The fluid is red like transmission fluid. I wouldnt bother spending the money to run it in the hydraulics but i would 100% run the right stuff in the transmission
@@jerrodriley4290 thank you for the information. We didn’t need to add any fluid to the transmission this time but will get the correct fluid before we do. Thanks again! Have a great day and be safe!
good video and job. i have the old$ 50 hft helmet it's much better than the old sears ones. i need to clean mine. if you do a lot of welding you need a good one. take care, be safe and well.
@@johnwoody4905 absolutely! Keeping them covered when not using and not scratching the lens is the biggest things I have found to help. I do like the better helmets now that I’ve tried them but they all can be made to work, it’s just easier with the higher $ lenses. We appreciate you! Have a great day and be safe!
@@myronbelknap4390 yes they are and I would never remove them if the shaft they protect never needed maintenance. Appreciate you watching and your comment. Have a great day and be safe!
I've had the same compressor for almost 20 years with no issues. There was a recall on them back in the mid 2000's so you might want to look into that. I don't remember what the recall was for, but I had to take it to a Sears service center and have them fix whatever it was.
Taryl Fix All channel took 10 gas lawn more engines. Tested different Gas stabilizers. He found If you crank, and run the engine every 30 days You don't need the stabilizer. He had two engines with just gas. He would let them set for 30 days then try to crank them. He had two engines with stabilizer gum up in the carbutrators has he says.
battery tray issue may have not happened with another of the same helmet, i agree, and at times there is a bad apple in a bushel but this is an extremely good thing to think about because there is nothing more disheartening than getting a product and being excited about it and then it not to live up to the thoughts we had about it , so... just realizing we all live in this fallen world and products are under the curse too is helpful to know what we are all subject to have happening to us and what we may be able to do about it
@@WeldorLife thank you for watching and your comment. I was very impressed with the return at Harbor Freight. Nothing worse than not being able to return something that doesn’t work or meet expectations. I have tried another of these helmets and no issues with the tray on that one and the helmet worked great. Thanks again, have a great day and be safe!
Thanks for the video I can't find anything good on the x595? I'm having problems with my 3 point hitch. Any channels or chance of you being able to make one?
It looks like you don't know much about working with batteries and wrenches. You always disconnect the negative first and that way.If your wrench contacts a metal portion of the vehicle it won't arc, Then you remove the positive terminal. Since the negative terminal is already removed it won't matter if you touch the frame of the vehicle.
good video nice building. sounds like a good price. pre covid cheapest price i could get was$ 54,000 for a 40 by 96 shed with no walls. so i got a sawmil and building smaller sheds have build 2 have 3 to go. take care, be safe and well.
gear oil.. someone should have told Blue diamond that in my new brush cutter i was sold.. "they forgot to put gear oil in it" lasted about an hour and locked up... but i got a brand new mower from them to replace it...
Had the same issues. Just purchased a Z355E, used, for a great price but has issues. Would start up and run for a few minutes, then cut off. Replaced plugs, filters, new fuel pump, oil change and even removed fuel tank, drained old fuel and reinstalled. Nothing worked. Watched your video, and went back in and replaced fuel and vacuum lines. So far, so good. Mowed the whole yard, no stalling at all. Seems like I see very little fuel in filter, but continues to run, so I guess that did the trick. Thank You for your help, your video probably saved me a fortune being next step was bringing it to the shop. Excellent video 100%
@@mystx2006 thank you for watching and your feedback! We are so glad it helped, that is what we hoped for when we shared it! Appreciate you! Have a great day and be safe!
@@LoudMercury thanks for watching and your comment. I haven’t changed bars but it looks like a few different ones on Amazon are supposed to fit. Good luck, have a great day and be safe!
Thanks for watching and your comment. That would be awesome because my thumb was flat worn out after about 6 hours of running it. The only problem is there isn’t enough flow to keep the head continuously on and still have full tracking and excavator arm use. It will do some movements like swing and lowering the arm but lifting and tracking is very diminished with the head powered on. Thanks again! Appreciate you, have a great day and be safe!
My Kubota KX040 has a constant on button under the index finger on the right stick. Makes it much nicer, but like this one, when a high demand item is activated, such as the drive motors to move the machine, it temporarily diverts fluid from the Aux circuit. I get the same loss of momentum for the blade carrier.
@@stevem6711 there is a button on mine there as well. I haven’t ever tried to see what it did. I will try it out. My thumb was sore at the end of the day. Have a great day and be safe!
