I don’t understand why this woman isn’t using a slide presentation on a projector screen like come on why is she holding up these little cards with these tiny little images? What she doing this in 1985 or something? Like get with the times. Had to stop watching this after first card came out. Children in elementary schools do slide presentations. Are you serious? I can’t believe this.
Diamonds are overrated I hate that it’s my birthstone. I like deep reds, blues, greens but my favorites are opals & varieties of iridescent opals/gemstones. Also some smokey greys with other slight tones & impurities within it. I think it makes it nicer
I couldn't remember what the media was called and the recorder and playback instruments were called. I remember it is the wax cylinder recording but I think the recorder was just called the wax cylinder recorder and player respectively, but I am forgetting things these days. These were not available I thought for over a century. Did they ever have plans to record the best wax cylinders? Would 3D printing help in copying a wax recording?
Pretty sad that he has to go out of his way to make some trigger warning / disclaimer so that the PC crybabies don't get offended on behalf of folks who aren't alive anymore whenever he says Edison came up with invention or device. People should be adult enough to either know what the tour guide means by "Edison" or have the composure/emotional intelligence to not immediately cave into their urges to embark on a fake-virtue signaling social media crusade against people for stuff like that.
This piece is transcendental. It makes me appreciate more and more the interpretive nature of jazz and how Ms. Reid is a master at creating with this instrument. She has just won a well deserved MacArthur Fellow"Genius" Award. Her work is so varied and interesting and beautiful. Brava!
I don't buy jewellery to impress the world. To me it's an absolute inner choice and feeling. Unfortunately in this mega capitalistic world I can't effort pieces I believe they deserve me.
Awesome!! I really see a project so big from this, that I can hardly put it into words! How about an entire series like this?? Omg! The Repair Shop in England is a fantastic series! But can you imagine a series like this precious gentleman and his incredible thoughts, observations, AND handwork? Such a series would be one million times exponentially more interesting than even The Repair Shop! Oh please?? Please give us such a series?! This is too fabulous to be so short. Thank you!
The context a jewelers ad. So when looking at it we can see a women in morning for a loved one. While she shops or perhaps these are suitors. Yet she continues to admire the jewelry despite anything else. "She devours" A feast for the eyes.
I have one of the throws out of Suzanna’s sheep and Cushendale Mills. It is beautiful and soft and perfect for those chilly days and nights almost upon us yet again. Treat yourselves to a blanket. You will be happy you did!
