Just the way they talked to each other felt... not spontaneous and active, but comfortable in how deeply in love they were. "Like... oh, you compared me to the sun and the blazing inferno of compassion with the light of a thousand welcoming campfires. I liked that." "Yeah, I was feeling romantic this morning." And then walking on with their days because it's both normal and appreciated.

the guy that murdered my sister was released after like 27 years. He went missing the day he was released. they have never found his remains, so who knows where he is. I wonder if they checked the droppings of wild hogs down god knows what road near some field in the middle of nowhere.
Mrs. Wiley was my elementary school principal. She was wise and stern. She always treated everyone with respect, even the "trouble makers" and I see why. Thank you for those years at NAES.

I’m literally pregnant this year and due to the birth right before the election, I’m voting early and will crawl over broken glass if I have to to vote. It was too hard fought for and it’s a spit in the face of my ancestors not to do my civic duty and VOTE.
The time I was in the car with my adult children and they proceeded to tell me that I did a good job as their mom and that I didn’t mess them up. I had been struggling with depression and was feeling like I was the worst mom ever. They not only told me but gave examples to make their points.
In away he died with the young man that was burnt that day....... That's why it was December 7th that he o passed...... Time is relative. Sometimes I think people often die near to dates that were most traumatic for them in their lives. This is one of the times that I see that my theory is true❤ 😢
This just reminded me of something from a now rather old episode of "Grey's Anatomy". I remember the patient in question talking about her mother always reminding her that she built her from scratch. That was my first thought when Sarah said they shared a heart. "Well, of course. She built her from scratch." I love the love in this family.
