That is the missing link in the DA Policy and South Africa. DA does not want acknowledge frustration and suffering black South Africans instead it focuses on protecting white people stolen wealth in South Africans. Mandela became compromise of the revolution that gave up black people to apartheid economic system for their own status and benefits.
Even if you are old Prof, and it is not going to make a difference anymore in your life, you should practice what you preach and swop your wealth for someoene in a township, you go stay in an informal settlement while they stay in your house and your salary/pensioen goes to them and don't forget your car.

Think the Prof speaks of the elite 10% at the top ....both " Black & White' ......... the rest of us middle & labour's did not have any privilege & had to work to supplement & help at home in being able to have a reasonable upbringing etc !!! Perhaps the younger generation don't believe that coal stoves / geysers & outside toilets were common in Middle class till the mid /end of 70's .....catching a train to work was common too !!

I regret but i am amazed to hear his wisdom. Now talking about "history will absolve me" This is a super candidate. South Africa should implement this idea. Some people need socialism, state controlled entities (if properly handled), and ordered where to go, what to do, and how to live. There'd be less crime as China and Japan have socialized a credit base. If you behave badly then you need to live in rural areas whilst good behavior and efficiency is rewarded

Listening to this, one cannot but really reflect on Economical Transformation and Inequality in the country and realise that the sad part is that our country doesn't have a clear and effective program in place which can be implemented to drive Transformation. Hence we are always hearing the same promises at the SONAS, hence the reason why 20 years later we are far backwards than we were 20 years ago. We have gone back in most of the aspects of the country... the you look at Rwanda that had a terrible genocide which just ended about 21 years ago, but their Transformation Programs, because they are clear, they've managed to cover so much ground and prepare the country for different kinds of investments. Now you got Kigali as a World Class City and the cleanest City in Africa. That can only be clear Mandate. I am not okay!
