Wow! I tent camp always, this video makes me think twice about it since Yellowstone is in my bucket list. I might rent a van or something, that could’ve been very dangerous. Actually that WAS very dangerous. Plan B it is.

To see these big boys brawling like that is pretty cool! WWE has nothing on this! In fact, at the next cage match, put a bison in there along with the wrestlers to liven things up. Viewership would triple!
Why on earth are humans allowed to camp at Yellowstone National Park. We do not belong there. This is natural wildlife sanctuary. We are encroaching on their land to what, entertain us? There should be a designated camping area that is fenced in to keep the wildlife out. I'm not talking about right dab in the middle of the park, no. I mean on the outskirts of the park. I mean honestly there is only so much of the land that is left to nature and wildlife. Animals are not there for our entertainment. Just like Jurassic park, these animals don't need our protection, they need our absence, period. I'm so sick of hearing about dumb human beings trying to take selfish with Elk, moose, bear, bison, or any wildlife for that matter. Nature is not our playground or meant to make money off of tourists, these areas, although the animals are used to human interaction, isn't there to babysit us. I strongly believe if a human is hurt from a wild animal, there is a good chance that human should not have been where he/she was. And in no way should that animal be euthanized. I'm so sick of our species, seriously.
To imagine this, bison overran the country in the 1800's and by the early 1900's they were almost extinct, until conservation efforts stepped in and now, they're making a comeback, are off the endangered species list and it's no longer considered unusual to catch a glimpse of a bison. Now that's one amazing story of a comeback.
Saw one bull push another through the side of a motorhome about 30 years ago in TRNP. Everyone at this camp site got lucky. A camper is only slightly better than a tent!
Not a Bison story just a nature experience. Was at a campground in Georgia and I knew better than keep food in my tent. Had my cooler chained to my pop up camper. Was awoken to a shaking tent and sounds of an aggravated bear. From then on chained to a tree.
