This was exactly what I needed to get a job done. You explain things really well, and although some people might get frustrated with you for going over things, it really helped me fill in some knowledge gaps. Thanks again!
This is still working up to this day. However: In a docker compose file if i use the Kestrel Certificate Default Path and password it wont work. Why is that ?
My friend recommend this video and i just subscribed immediately because spending this quality of time teaching something quality of gold like this is worth my subscription. Thank you Les
Thanks a lot for your amazing work. I really enjoyed every minute in this video. Learned so many things. Kindly create new videos for clean architecture, cqrs pattern. We are missing your videos🥲
So smooth .... I have been a developer for about 8 years with C# .NET, WPF, and C++ mostly worked on desktop applications. I need to get into cloud, microservices etc. I want to learn Azure from a developer point of view not from a business point of view. All the Azure courses I came across talk about its infra structure, pricing, security etc. As developer where and how should I learn Azure / AWS etc? I am not sure if this is the right starting point or is it? By the way I like all the content you do Les, thank you!!!
It has been two years since, the video has been provided. The relevancy of the tutorial is still strong. I only wish to add that support for filter has now been added to minimal api.
Identity and Security in ASPNET is a big topic with many aspects to cover. There are actually many videos on this subject available on the Internet. However, Les Jackson has a special talent for explaining complex topics in a simple and easy-to-understand way.
@danilovda You're right. But most of the videos I found just write code without explaining to you why they're writing them. I always want to know why I'm doing something. Les does well by explaining to you why he does what he does which is why I love his videos
Trying to edit the AndroindManifest.xml in VS 2022 did not load the XML, but some kind of view I never saw before. I edited the XML in notepad. Trying to rebuild the application created an error APU 2067 "Failed processing manifest" and APT2260 "This error is likely caused by an issue with the AndroidManifest.xml for an Android Manifest generation attribute in a source code file.". Removing android:networkSecurityConfig attribute resolved the error. ?
Great stuff I really learned a lot and I am only at 30% of the course. Will finish it. Having some issues as I am using dotnet 8 but I made the platform service work so far :) Do you maybe have experience in contract testing? Would be nice to see a follow up video about that. :)
