I like it if you're trying to organize your toolkit/box. It also says something they're really working on their presentation, which those trays probably cost at max 1.50 to add to production so not like it effects what you're getting.
I just ordered a Milwaukee 2nd gen Framing Nailer kit which includes a carry case, charger and a 5 ah battery from Home Depot. I got this delivered. I opened it it and the only item in there was the framing nailer. The case, charger and battery were missing. I suspect it was either stolen by the delivery driver on route or that it was an item someone returned after stealing the items inside and they put it back on the shelf to resell without verifying everything had been returned. I suspect the thief just told them a story saying the 3 items were missing inside. What proof would they have that he/she stole them? Shit like this pisses me off but we live in a world where very few people are honest, and rife with scammers and criminals. Don't trust anything you buy from anywhere. Always do your homework and make sure you can return the items for a new one or get your money back.
I had to bring it down an inch to fit under my workbench, so I bought four 4-inch swivel casters vs. the 5-inch two swivel and two straight casters that came with it. Mine is actually very slightly off-level from the drawer side to the back, I think this was done on purpose so that the drawers would remain closed. I've heard of some people complaining that the drawers sometimes open on their own. Had mine done that or ever starts to do that; I would have shimmed the front casters with washers to create the off-level effect.
I'm of the same mind bro! There are plenty of other ratchets for sale at HF that are just hanging from a hook and aren't packaged in a box that we don't need. The best thing for you to do is, when you buy it open it up, take what you want and leave the rest in the store and let them throw it away. If everyone did that then the packaging would go away. Because the managers would contact their bosses and it would go all the way to the top. I don't like icon at all. I think their tools are overpriced for what you get.
recently on RU-vid did a max torque with the icon and snap on. Snap on won by like 10 ft lb. You tell me they already invested in the quality of the ratchet theyer being better with price, presentation, and lifetime warranty.
Hey JD, I was hoping you can confirm that you had no problem mounting your workbench with those two center cabinets. When I choose the option to add the workbench, it switches one of the lower cabinets to a different style. The two brackets for the workbench on HomeDepot look like they are for the same side instead of being a mirror image. I'm just concerned there is something stupid happening on the left side. Thanks
That milk jug plastic cost them less than a cent. Its not making the tool more expensive. It is however, giving you a free custom molded tray for your toolbox to keep your tools organized. Use that cloth to wipe your tears then carry on.
@@jdgarage85 after watching this is went to 2 different stores to get the pistol grip ones. it was more since it was only 15% off but seems very nice as well.
The 3/8 flex head long handle rachet. I bought one. The head would never stay where i wanted it. Took it back now have the same rachet in snap on. Soooooo much better
What the heck are you crying about? If it is such a problem for you, open the package at the store after paying, and leave the packaging with them. Stop bitching!
The icon is BS it's made in the same factory as all the other tool companies it's just them trying to bring the snap-on crowd at the harbor freight. Harbor freight ratchets and sockets have always been high quality made in Taiwan and made in the same factory as all of the other ratchets that you can buy on the market
This is the dumbest shit i think i’ve ever waisted my time watching. The packaging is fine, simple and functional. Stop making youtube videos and actually work or something
These are selling for $150 USD and still worth every penny. I use this for cleaning PCs and my workspace... I also use it for my car because it's insanely powerful for a device this size... but I do use a shop vac for the car floor because the collection bag is pretty small on this little guy.
This is super helpful. and you REALLY need to watch for sales. Right now, the Pro Duty LINE-X coated cabinet is $429, and regular duty cabinet which is smaller is $649. The Heavy duty is $849. My garage won't be built until the end of June, so I can't order yet :(
