They killed faster than the nazis….and the way the majority was killed is just brutal. Machete, clubs with nails, torture (beyond comprehension) such as having kids kill/rape parents,throwing dead babies in wells to poison water, etc. And yet it still not taught in school. The brutal genocide of 1mill people in100 days…and just in 1994. It’s just fucking nuts And it was neighbors killing neighbors, teachers killing students, team mates killing teammmates…..shit even church parishioners killing each other. Uncomprehendable Just shows how under the right circumstances, we all have that evil in us. And people who say they would not have killed, until you were part of it, you don’t know. The Belgians and French have a lot of blood on their hands from this particular genocide
The Belgians created and enforced the power conflict between the Hutu's and the Tutsi's and were bystanders during the genocide. They did the same to the Congolese via King Leopold II except it wasn't just humans that were enslaved and massacred. It was their natural resources, their rubber, rainforests and animals including elephants.

I hate to seee How ppl forget soon and want Rwandan to live as nothing had happed can’t forget history even if forgiveness is part of ours….. people still have it in their hearts especially those who killed but haven’t jailed
