I don't think so, there's not much GUI yet, and the game itself becomes pretty different (at least more marathon-oriented), so I wouldn't expect it to be added officially or even more, to combine it with difficulty somehow But having custom clients and servers sounds like a reasonable thing. If there are considerably more things done, I'll probably cover that in the videos too.
you can change in appdata/supertuxkart/config-0.10/config.xml the value artist-debug-mode to true, then set command line parameters to "--check-debug" in the same file or in terminal
It seems that those nitros on T6 in my RBR still gave the front runner too huge advantage (that's a mistake I didn't thought about) that even rebalanced still let you like Max in 2023 lol. Would change if I decide to upgrade it.
I think both turns with nitro are T6 depending on how I count so I'd apply that to both :) More seriously, I think putting something useful only on one side of the track is imbalanced on any track, and I actually asked whether it could be changed on several standard tracks (Abyss, Ravenbridge with 7 nitros on the edge, etc). Maybe if one side has nitros, the other side should have an item (probably not 3 or it's possible to take both). And of course I'll be waiting for updates :)
