A few years ago, I drove on the P14 road, but unfortunately, I didn't record anything. Yes, there are indeed similarities; both roads are narrow and at a high altitude, and the scenery is incredible.

I think the grip is pretty good. Primarily, it's a touring tire (and that's what I need), but sporty riding is no problem at all. I've tried Mitas Sport Force, they offer better grip, but their lifespan is significantly shorter.

Nicht nur für Motorradfahrer eine atemberaubende Straße! Spannend wird es, wenn von Kotor ein Bus kommt, von oben ein leerer Betonmischer LKW und ein weiterer Bus ca. 2 km rückwärts wieder den Berg hinunterfahren muss, so dieses Frühjahr erlebt! Da wird es schon brenzlig!

Came across your full video of climb up Col d'izoard pass. Very nice. Love the sound track. Who is artist and song? Would you say this is relatively easy pass? Looks like very few if any steep hairpin turns, not crazy steep grade, and slightly wider. Thanks. Kam
I have recorded only last part from the north side, D902 road, Cervières - Col d'Izoard pass. While the north side is fairly lush and green, just over the south side is the famous Casse Déserte. Yes, it is relatively easy pass. Disco Knights by Quincas Moreira, according to RU-vid video description 🙂
I've been reading about this pass. In your opinion is this pass difficult. Seems not as many hairpin turns. From what I read elevation and bad weather are biggest factor. Thinking of an Alps tour. Thanks. Kam
I agree with you. At this elevation, the road is not so difficult (for example, much easier than the Mangart Saddle). The weather can be quite challenging at an elevation of 2.700m above the sea level making it difficult to enjoy the ride. Nevertheless, the pass is wild, beautiful, intimidating, lonely and epic.
