i have the AgustaWestland AW139 SAR for FSX , it has a problem that the fuel flow is very high , so the fuel tanks become empty in about 5 min , anybody have this problem and fixed it ??
Your video has been very helpful. I managed to take off and play around with the Autopilot. BUT, I am struggling with the cockpit views , like from PFD / MFD back to center console. I saw you you move the mouse back and forth so fast to get to each panel ( AP/ guidance controller). What is the the a command to set to use the mouse to move around the cockpit panels? Thank you
You can set quick views in X-Plane. I believe my key binds are setup at CTRL + X with X representing a number pad key say CTRL + 1 or CTRL + 3 to quickly allow you to move around the cockpit in 2D mode.
@@CajunJosh Hello Josh, MY CCD has an issue. I tried using Ctrl + X, but the CCD still not working. In fact before that , when I use the mpouse click , it is not even respondoing.
One year later and this still isn’t fixed! I’ve been trying since release to solve this issue but no matter how much I troubleshoot, nothing seems to work. Hopefully LR gets around to solving this, but I can’t bring myself to use XP12 until this issue is gone.
Lovely looking aircraft model. There is an error in the AFCS implementation though. The AW139 AFCS can't maintain altitude with pitch. When a vertical upper mode like ALT is selected it will only use collective to maintain the vertical reference. Pitch can only be used by the AFCS to control airspeed.
Thank you very much for this video, I already started to think that it's just me. So same issue, white outlines and rough edges everywhere, like there is no AA at all. I habe an MSI RTX 3090. I hope this issue is somewhere at the front on their fix list.
Xplane 12, like other versions has a next to useless built in Anti Aliasing implementation. Even when setting to x8 it still looks broken and the sim then runs like a 3 legged dog high on weed! Many Xplane fans are either in complete denial or recommend 3dr part apps or NVidia tweaks. Am using an RTX 4090 running in 4k and the AA is just awful, as are all the artefacts you mention here in your excellent video demonstration. The fact this AA issue has still not been fixed in 12.07 shows they either cant fix it or don't care. It makes the sim look awful! Shimmering shadows on the sea from coastlines is another blaring issue. Austin keeps adding cool stuff to his sim, but fails to make the basic sim look cool! Anti Aliasing needs a fix that am afraid they know will either destroy the framerate of the sim, or they just cant quite sort it out without breaking too much of the other stuff in the sim. Compare this sim to MSFS 2020 or The excellent version 2.9 of DCS world, now both using DLSS and TAA, and see why x plane is so broken. X plane 12 is supposed to be the best blah blah..but in reality its miles behind the rest of the crowd. Its ironic as x plane is a great sim, and version 12 was sold and promoted mainly on its new graphical improvements! Sadly basic AA isn't one of those improvements!
@@CajunJosh I re-installed and still see horrendous shimmering around the screens and buttons in Rotate's MD-11. I don't know if it's a Rotate problem or a an X-Plane 12 problem. But for me it's just horrible and I'm surprised more people aren't complaining about it. I don't seem to see the same issues with the stock planes. So something is very badly wrong with the MD-11.
@@tinblue my bad tribute. I thought you were commenting on the odd scan line shadows that were getting cast on aircraft during sunset. Yeah, when it comes to the shimmering I still see it too, it's better on some modules than others but still pretty apparent especially in VR.

at 7:37 how do you get that screen/ipad ubove the aw139 plack, i dont have it, plus the quality of the text on the fmc and pfd is very bad and pretty much unredable, any help?

Completely normal Nick. As you are speeding up the rotor disk starts to produce asymmetric lift. The rotors on the side of the disk that are advancing into the oncoming air start to produce more lift than the retreating blades going with the flow of wind. The faster the helicopter goes the faster the more pronounced the lean will become.

@@CajunJosh I’m getting the hang of it, only problem is being able to make it available to use, which I copy the file with the Gimp file in the folder and it pops up as a different(default) livery than the one in the file
I guess it's a subjective opinion, possibly related to my OBS recording software. I don't have a dog in the fight as far as selling the module goes but IMO it's one of the best rotor animations out of any of the available XP11 helicopters. I know many have found the new rotor animations to be a highlight so it's possible the OBS recording settings aren't conveying accurately what I'm seeing in the sim.
Hey stranger! Thank you for the kind words, admittedly after some recent updates she's a little tame but I spoke with Josh and he has some plans in the works to give her just a bit more spirit. He also did some work on the rotor animations and deflections under flight condition which look great. Can't wait to get a night flight in. She is a little slower than I remember but maybe that's just because I got used to the 407.
