Anyone that know anything about professional fighters knows that what you are seeing here are two of the toughest, strongest S.O.B.'s at middleweight to ever lace up boxing gloves. The punishment being dealt out by both of them is beyond belief. Every time I see this fight I am amazed how Rubin Carter got Fernandez out of there in 69 seconds. I was in Carter's training camp for the Fernandez fight and he knew damn well the fight Floro put up against Fullmer, his take on that, "It won't help him against me!" He was right.
