Got my first credit card at Sears I was like 14 years old me and my buddy after school go to the mall too cute girls signing people up for the Sears Credit Card giving away. A 2 L. Soda hell yeah sign us up, when the following week to sign up again, the girl recognized us and said you guys signed up for a card last week you can’t sign up for another ones well oh we never got it two days later we get the card in the mail my mom like how do you get a sears card? I can’t even get a sears card. I don’t know. Talk to cute girlin the mall told her what happened when we signed up mom laughed and if it wasn’t Eddie Lambert taking over and ripping everyone off he’s getting sued multiple times but yet he still got multiple companies. Can’t wait till they make a movie about Eddie Lambert.
Last I checked, Harbor Freight, Ryobi, Dewalt and Milwaukee don't have an entire fleet of r trucks that stop by the shop every couple of weeks. My dad owned his own shop for 30 years and all you saw in his shop was Snap-On, Mac, Matco, Blue Point etc...I asked, since they had a true lifetime warranty, why not Craftsman he told me, well, until they get a truck coming here I haven't got time to stop what I'm doing, drive to Sears, stand in line, and hope to heck they have what broke on the shelf.
I've got over 30 ryobi tools and have had good luck mostly. The brand that makes me cringe, and I'm not saying they are bad tools so haters chill, is Ridgid. Even though Fein and Klein tools are also orange, the orange color always will make me think cheap, cheap, cheap, crap.
The tools are all packaged as kits. I remember the days they had individual sockets, ratchets ,screw drivers pilers hammers, punches, wrenches etc. Nobody is going to get anything broken replaced.
I saw the the set for 230 online on the Sears website I couldn’t believe it. Me personally I never even really went to sears it was on the way out when I was working there and it declared bankruptcy when I was about 15. Now I kinda wish I could have gone and shopped there
I think it's retarded to buy all tools of one certain brand but I did buy the M12 fuel impact and drill driver yesterday with two 4.0 batteries and it was a good deal cuz I got a multi-tool with it free
I do agree to avoid the $399 kit, but only the Saw and Saw-Zall are brushed. The drill and driver are brushless. They're so underpowered and weak compared to the last gen brushless.
I changed out the plastic chuck on the subcompact drill when I got it - have loved it since. Also, the subcompact multi-tool and recip saw are both insanely good. I have seen multiple channels open them up and they seem to be surprisingly well made. Havent had problems with anything makita (I have 15-20 or so) except that god forsaken pin nailer
I own and love a variety of brands, including some in the Harbor Freight Bauer and Hercules lines, but Milwaukee has always been consistent over the years with every tool I’ve owned from them.
