A up sports fans, I'm Dave, nothing serious here, to many people doing that. I enjoy hiking, vanlife and wild camping and anything outdoors, so come along to the party and join me. What adventures will we go on next???? For any reviews or sponsors dave_sr34@hotmail.co.uk
Good to see another video and sorry again for interrupting you whilst at the Farnborough show earlier this month, very kind of you to spare a couple of minutes to chat.
Hello Dave here is a product that may interest you to use with the bluetti and other power banks its a 12v to 45v inverter style product that can be powered by van battery or solar to charge your solar generators when driving. its called an Etaker f100 and there are a few video's on RU-vid ref them. unfortunately they don't have a UK supplier but say they will cover postage and taxes from the states and back should the product develop a fault. they would not gift me one as at the moment I don't have a large enough channel to promote the product in the UK although did offer a slight discount but it may be worth you having a look and possibly trying to bag one. I know bluetti etc have something similar but it is the first I have seen that has a power feed from the van battery and from solar.
@@DaveOutdoors very well … actually back in Europe visiting w family right now … in Barcelona today (Monday) then back to blighty tomorrow… it’s been a great trip so far. 😁
Good to see you back on the road again chap, back in the saddle 👍🏻 Great video and great to see tezzer out too. Looking forward to seeing more outings. ATB Russ
I think that I may have been one of the people to recognise you at the show in Farnborough albeit I was there for the H&S and not car side! Good to see you back out and filming and looking forward to seeing you back in the fells and a few trails and wild camps.
Good to see you back...Ok not related to this video but last year you did one titled "simple fault, turned out to be you worst nightmare.. I left this comment "So how would I contact the guy regarding some upholstery and would you have the "what 3 words" for the park up you was at with the rolling clouds plz"... I hope you can help..👍👍
Hey my apologies, I must have missed this comment you posted. The guy is now abroad living, so unable to use him. Hmmm I’ll have to look back for the comment and see which location you were on about.
I had a contribution / ballance issue with cylinder 1 . Hoped it was an injury or but turns out before I had the van done the head gasket and timing chain was done badly, basically I need a recon engine. It lasted 5 years and had 130k on it. Haven’t had the quote but over a barrel as the engines already dismantled. At least I’ll have a “new engine” and not have to make another van
Can you do a video on wiring up to the 230v system, just bought my own van and started to convert, currently have everything 12v but would love to have a hook up as well
Yes chap, wagos will give you more supply voltage to different consumers, via them. Duraseals are only good for when your wires are going to a single consumer.
Hi, I found your video for 12v wiring, really helpful. My only question is, what size of 2 core cable did you use? 1.5mm? Also, what size cable from the battery to consumer unit? Thanks
Hi, glad you found it helpful, I used 1.5mm yes. It may be a bit thick for some of the consumer wires. But atleast if you use wagos, those wires can carry more current. I don't have wires from my battery to consumer unit, It's direct hook up only.
