Plenty of reputable churches who do great work in their communities, but a reputable charity is a great option for sure! At Cumberland, we partner with some amazing nonprofits in our community to do service projects, help alleviate hunger and poverty, etc.

The central passage is 1 Corinthians 12:12-13 (ESV): "For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body-Jews or Greeks, slaves or free-and all were made to drink of one Spirit."
You have an incredibly beautiful voice. I love your performance of this song. Now because I heard you sing this, now I want to learn it. So simple, pure and holy. Thank you Sir.
Court you are making bring my A game to God and I have to admit that I don't like it. A hairdresser didn't listen to my instructions and he cut all my hair off. My hair was such a huge part of my life ever since I was a kid. Many women freak out over their hair being touch in ways they don't like. Now, most of my hair is gone. I have cried for two days, but I am having a growing awareness that my identity is not rooted in my hair but in God. ❤ This is hard and painful.
Obviously, by my little picture you can tell, I am not African American... Nevertheless, I am a woman and I believe all woman can pick up on certain traditional male spaces and nuances. Just by challenging a group of men and their perspective, I wonder how your wife felt in the moment. Did she want to connect? Was she looking for their input? Did she want to be challenged back? Was she just stating an opinion? Was she showing off that she knew the game? Do guys talk about plays in games to try to out smart each other, right?

Pastor Courtney this has touched my soul and been a blessing to hear. I pray God is glorified through my life as I strive to be closer to Him. 🙏 Your teachings are on point and such an inspiration.
The devil loves you a lot more when your doing something right so that there is when you not to forget the love god has for you, because when god says no u still have to understand and love him hes not always gonna sa give you what you asked you but he has the bigger picture, because when everything goes right u tend to forget and thank him and thats when the devil steps in.
I AM a whistleblower mother wannabe philanthropist for Jesus Christ. Where are my brothers and sisters?? Like Jesus I am a liar lunatic or telling you the truth. I need just one person to get the truth out to the world! Anyone can ask me anything
Money and spiritual integrity are always hard topics to discuss and most pastors avoid talking about these two powerful issues in a meaningful way. This morning I was at a Church and the pastor spoken on God supplying our needs. That's about as far as most pastors get in terms of discussing money. They talk on giving to the needy or God supplying our needs. The idea towards adding shrewdness in the mix never consciously occurred to me. Also, the concept of using money to deliberately better the kingdom of God is very interesting. This takes talking about money and spiritual matters to a whole new level. Thanks for the food for thought.🤔
You always make me smile,"Why am I even in this picture?" I think Jesus already stated what you are stating... John 9:1-12, Jesus saw a man who had been blind since birth. His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" Jesus replied: Neither this man nor his parents sinned ... but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. God has a mysterious way to show generosity and healing.
Well, that was a pretty preceptive. " ' I desire mercy not sacrifice ' you would not have condemned the innocent." Right, I never considered how board of a statement Jesus could be making here or how deep. Was Jesus viewing innocence in a way that was almost beyond human comprehension? I always thought he was talking about himself and the prophets like John the Baptist. I was having heated discussions with Catholics on another RU-vid site over their beliefs. I was shocked that they truly believed that Jesus' mother died a sinless, divine, virgin. Also, Jesus' disciple Peter was a childless widower who was the first Pope of the Catholic Church. Relics and statues are somehow important. I am not sure which Bible these people are reading, but they are pretty insisted this nutty stuff is all there. I am struggling to have mercy towards a Christian domination which really thinks they are superior, and they want you to believe all their colorful descriptive analysis.
I needed this message. My mother died recently and I was feeling so many different things. Anger frustration.. resentment.. guilt. Thank you for sharing this. Thank you God for getting me through each day
I enjoyed watching this series. We all being humans are sure to experience some kind of trauma at some point in life. I look forward to part 3 coming up. 👏👏👏
Thanks for watching! And unfortunately true, yes - we all will experience trauma at some point in life. Or have to work our way thru active trauma. Hoping pieces like these can serve to be useful in empowering folks with possible tools/resources to work thru these kinds of things. Thanks again for watching and we look fwd to sharing part 3 as well! 🙏🏾
