Hi, I’m Marshall! I’m a pro action sports athlete on a mission to explore the Earth in Flow through masting the four elements of nature: Water, Earth, Fire, Air.
Was that at Lake Travis? Hit me up if youre in Austin flying again and you can check out my OpenPPG electric paramotor. Would love to see what you think
All that lead up and then only a couple seconds of footage of flying in the totality? Why the tease? Seemed more like an ad for the paramotor than about the experience of the eclipse.
I'd feel I have much more safety with a normal IC engine with a wired controller....I wouldnt fly higher than 5 feet with an electric motor and a wireless throttle trigger.. nah F that
Yikes. RU-vid videos of batteries that size catching in fire... Like on e-bikes. I don't think any amount of hepa filters on a plane would save the passengers from a fire like that
Thanks for the video. Would love more info on the e-PPG such as…How much to purchase complete; the weight of the unit; any distributors in the US and so on (or is it purchased directly). Have been to the website but not a lot of details available. The Benefit of Open PPG is that they are USA local with lots of details and an active flying community. I don’t want to discount this unit as I already like the “Fly Products”-like frame better (I have flown the Eclipse). It would be great if more e-PPG products started to be offered. I also grew tired of the 2 stroke maintenance, smell, and reliability issues. Thanks for any info.
Hey! I also moved from my apartment and sold most of my possessions to live a more flexible lifestyle! I now have time to kayak, mountain bike, and raise chickens and on my 1.5 acre. I am also carlife, but a Nissan sentra is not as comfortable as a van ;)
Better yet, stay over the water not too far from shore just in case - fly straight at cruising speed, trims to neutral, during a Sunset using an EN-A/DGAC entry level wing of course. It would better reflect your title and I am sure, would be awesome to watch. Good luck!
