Yup. Apparently, they closed about two years later, around 2012. Such a shame..... now the only options people have for buying PC components (for what else...... GAMING) are pretty much just Best Buy. Way back when, we still had CompUSA, Circuit City, and Fry's. CompUSA and Circuit City died, and Fry's will be gone in 2020. I wish Micro Center would return to the Bay Area, but open up shop, closer to S.F........ and I'd settle for a new location, even San Mateo, tbh. Because....... their ONLY other store now is all the way down South, in Tustin (i.e. the L.A. area)...... yeah, I avoid L.A. like the plague. Better yet, Micro Center should just swoop in and set up shop, once Fry's in Palo Alto closes..... easy win!
