Dynabrade Inc. strives to exceed the expectations of our customers through the innovative design of the highest quality abrasive power tools and related accessories.
Our products and accessories are used in grinding, deburring, filing, sanding, and polishing applications on materials such as metal, wood, plastic, glass, rubber, stone, and composites.
The problem with this tool is the price. Make it a reasonable price and more people will buy. People have two options right now. A $10 wheel strapped to their cordless drill. Or spend hundreds of dollars on your very specific tool.
Where is the machine in Europe / Germany? It's already April 2024 and the DB8 is still not available anywhere? Unfortunately, this seems very unprofessional. What a pity.
Our European version is coming soon to the market. We are very excited for the launch. We do apologize for the wait, but we know you will be happy with the final product when it launches in Europe.
@@DynabradeInc Thank you for your reply. I have already had the opportunity to test the machine. After more than 20 years in this business, I still had an eccentric polisher with a forced drive that I could work with in this way. I would therefore very much appreciate it if the machine is still available this season. Unfortunately, it will be too late from September or October. In any case, I will be the first to take a close look at and test the Dynabrade DB 8, as I did with the Flex PXE in 2019. Of course, I will upload the corresponding videos and report back.
There are different contact arms for different applications. Depending on what piece you are working on, a different contact arm may work better for you.
So this is a Forced Rotation Polisher. This has 6.8mm throw. Just wondering how this machine cuts with such little throw? Look li😮ke great machine though 😅⁰⁰00⁰❤
It's a hybrid pretty much between rotary and da and it won't bog down if I'm not mistaken force rotation rotates oposite of a regular da don't quote me on it though
@Pty-gk2vb Yup, what you just described is a Forced Rotation Polisher! So basically, what this polisher is as well as what the Flex 3401 VRG is. I am just wondering why they chose to use such a small throw. 6.8mm vs a normal 8mm. I am just wondering how long it would take just to do some normal paint corrections like scratches, swirls etc..
That’s because dynabrade has been in the collision industry for years making da sanders I’ve been using the same one going on 20 years their tools are top quality
After product testing during development, we realized that the smaller throw combined with the ergonomics of the tool provide superior balance. We suggest giving it a try and seeing for yourself!
The DB8 has a thumb controlled variable speed-dial offers eleven speed selection options from 150 to 350 OPM. After using and testing the DB8 in many scenarios with many different users, we believe it is in line with (and in our bias even better) the Flex.
14grams on the reload. An exact measurement of what you're supposed to use? Suggest to clean and give some TLC? Used the proper tools and technique to disassemble? Precision tools used to fix other precision tools and with precision? 💁🏻♂️ I didn't know that there was any intelligent tubes posting useful and proper information. And didn't demand at some point to like and subscribe. Somebody give this guy "human of the year" award. Pay attention knuckleheads this is someone to learn from. Reeeeepsect
Just ordered an extreme. It took me seven years before i needed to replace the motor in my silver supreme ! You guys make a superb product. Promise you will never sell out or compromise on quality.
I do custom woodworking and I just got one of your orange handle 3/8" orbit sanders last year. It is a beast! Makes sanding tough jobs a breeze. I love it!!!
What speed should my 3in 3/32 extreme sander should I be using for clear coat I'm getting pig tails and I'm doing everything right with prep and stuff?
In the end, Dynabrade made things right. This was my original comment. "Failure will follow.....Good luck with Dynabrade customer "service" when your tool catastrophically grenades, leaving you with a job half finished, and a deadline to meet. Spend your money elsewhere. They overprice, overpromise, and under deliver." Edit: Dynabrade contacted me this morning and agreed to send me a new updated version FREE! Thank you dynabrade for stepping up. That means a lot to me.
We are sorry to hear that you were left frustrated after using one of our tools, that is not the usual outcome of an operator who picks up a Dynabrade tool. Please email us at social.media@dynabrade.com what happened with your tool and the application. Our tools are made to last throughout the years and are made right here in the USA. We look forward to helping you out with this!
@@DynabradeInc I've already contacted by phone "Pete" at customer service, who handed me off to the area rep, John Smith, who has not returned my call. I have also emailed the customer service portal on your website, and directly emailed customer service. So far, you are the only response. I have started leaving negative, completely factual online reviews.
If you have the correct tools to cut your abrasive, then yes you can cut the belt to the size you need. We do also supply smaller width belts. For the original Dynafile (14000) we recommend the 11219 or 11232 contact arm to run the smaller width belts.
The electric Dynafile (40610) can run 1/4" belts with the proper contact arm. The contact arms that would work for this model are 11202, 11204, 11280, 11314, and 11330.
Using the 50010 Collet (1/4") or 50015 Collet (6mm) you can convert this to a die grinder. You can also convert it to a drill using a 53032 Chuck (1/4").
The Silver Supreme has been discontinued. If you were purchasing from someone who still has stock of the 6" Silver Supreme, it would not come with a hook and loop pad. It came with a 6" non-vacuum vinyl face (PSA) pad. I would recommend looking at our 6" Extreme sander, X61H. That sander comes with a hook-face pad.

We know this response is a little late to your original post, but we are still hoping it helps answer your original question. At 3:19 in the video, we note to Torque to 23 Nm(Newton meters)/ 200 in.-lbs.
one thing you forgot to mention is you have to line up the marks on the outside case and the pin on the motor... unless these newer models have changed...
Again, a little late, but still hoping this helps you. At 2:45 in the video we note to align the line-up post (pin) with the botch on the inside of the housing.
