Beta 1 for this one updated and added a lot of ships to world scenery and huge update on Sint Maarten, St Barts and the shortest commercial runway at Saba Island in the Caribbean. They are simply breath taking.

@@davecat1458 thanks for the suggestion, I’ve heard of some issues installing and using with it. Plus, I just removed simhaven because of troubles with a flight a couple days ago that CTD. Not sure the culprit but it was possible
I wonder if thranda is going to update the Kodiak G1000 to X-Plane 12? I watch a missionary pilot on RU-vid, he flies in Papua New Guinea in the Kodiak, the same mission my parents were in back in the 70’s. Great videos of some of the mountain airstrips I’ve been to as a kid in Papua New Guinea.
Awesome, I am not sure if there will be updates for either with regard to G1000 panels. But that sounds like some interesting flying if we can find airstrips like that in X-Plane 12.

@@landonrosas8162 I appreciate the question but I am no expert nor know the right components for what you want to do. I first look at sim-wise what the recommended system requirements are and go from there with who I am having the computer built for their ideas. Then go from there with setting up the computer. I just don’t know how to research and know what each component should be.

@@thomasmckendry8566 Thank you for your comments. I plan doing some more work on both Saba and St. Barts, hopefully without controllers, as they are wickedly interesting landings. Controllers distract too much and miss things as too turns and such.
Thanks for showing the Thranda Caravan in XP12…..pretty disappointing to see those weird bugs. I was considering it but am now more keen on the Airfollabs King Air 👍

Hello mr. I have a question. Since this FF A350 is just updated for X-Plane 12, would the updated version still work with X-Plane 11? I only have XP11 and I don't really plan on buying 12 until this question is answered. 😁

@@josejaviergonzalezcruz3049 I would have to double check the minimum requirements needed, but it should. Most flight simulators be it Microsoft or laminar are capable of this. You may have to dial back settings on the scenery to improve frame rates, but make sure to check the laminar site for X-Plane 12 for the requirements.

@@Chorizo727 Yes a horrible approach into SeaTac I’d love to blame the delta pilot but I could have gone around. All the flights on my channel are either X-Plane 11 (for now 727s for the most part) or X-Plane 12 as this video was flown with. Thanks for your comments!

Flew along on a Guard 130H model as a kid out of Little Rock AR to Jonesboro AR with some schoolmates. Cool to see some of the preflights the pilots were doing up front.
Nice stream! A couple comments: If on an approach you ever accidentally descend below the published altitude for a specific fix (assuming of course you aren't below the DH/DA and/or ATC hasn't alerted you) and you are not below the MSA, the safest course of action would be to hold your altitude until you intercept the GP. The key is not being below the MSA, which if you were would not guarantee obstruction clearance. Initiating a climb in IMC (not the case here) only to shortly descend could induce spatial disorientation. Sure, you may get a call on the ground from ATC asking why you deviated from the published approach. But at least didn't SD and die. Also remember, when you add power on a underwing mounted jet engine you induce a pitch up moment. You can control that with trim, but the safest way is to reduce power to reduce pitch. You were almost 2 dots above the GS at one point and a VS exceed 1,000fpm below 500AGL. Technically that should've been a go-around. The flare on such a heavy AC is usually less pronounced than you imagine. For the 747, a slight 2-3 degree pull at 50 ft is about all you need. Keep up the flying!

Back in the 80’s I flew a TWA L1011 from Philly to St.Louis then a TWA 707 from St. Louis to Kansas City. I thought the L1011 was going to shake apart during takoff.
@@BlackKnight344 thanks first for comment and two, yes I am always, as you say, “hunting the glideslope,” and even the localizer in some instances but we’re trying to make those minor corrections with power and rudder for a somewhat descent landing.
@@flyingwithmike5390 starting sequence 36:05, the dark grey menu with the flight planning i was refering to. i guess that is navigraph? they took over freeware simbrief and changed the look. sim toolkit i don't know, is it part of navigraph too? how does that stuff cost, any idea? thanks mate.
@@piloto_loco that is Navgraph Charts. It has every chart in the world accessible in one place instead of hunting the Internet tirelessly to find the chart you want. Yes it fee/subscription based just like Navigraphs service to keep our Sims (now, sims nav databases were not update able a few years back prior to 2019 or so) and FMCs up to date. SIM ToolKit on the other hand is free and can easily be linked to these. All great tools I use.
@@flyingwithmike5390 i understand. but let me tell you that those tools (like simbrief, chart finder etc. etc.) were all freeware and rextremely easy to use. navigraph inhaled them and made them payware, that's what pisses me off. real jerks these guys. the original programs no longer work as a consequence. now i am obliged to buy that ? how much is it anyway?
Like your King Air C90 videos Mike...with all the info and detail. About the autopilot in the C90...it can be difficult to change the settings like Heading, Course and Nav needles in the HSI but they can be mapped to the joystick or yoke so you don't have to look down to twist a knob to make a needle move...you can do it all with your yoke. You can map them by setting the Autopilot Heading, Course and Nav needles or whatever you want to buttons on the yoke...makes things easy.

The Flight Simulators themselves do most of the work for us, be it MSFS or X-Plane. I can only directly speak to X-Plane, add some sceneries that are available helps as well. Hope this answered you question.
@@haveny_haven2599 Fr this flight they come with Xplane 12, no addons to LAX or SEA-TAC. I may look for one for SEATAC as I said not fond of the slope the developers at Xplane put in. IMO maybe too aggressive in there calculations.
