I'm a small creator who loves watches. I enjoy affordable but quality brands like Casio since that's what fits my budget. Sometimes, I treat myself to pricier options like Seiko and Orient Automatic when I can. I mostly stick to Casio, including the more expensive G-Shock line, when I have enough funds.
Collecting watches brings me joy, especially unboxing new ones and doing simple reviews. While I'm not an expert or watchmaker, I can still recommend watches based on my experiences. If you want me to review a particular cheap Casio watch, feel free to message me.
I'm also interested in the Chinese watch brand SKMEI; they offer affordable and reliable timepieces. Join me on my journey as I explore watches that fit my budget and share my experiences with you.
Very informative video, what’s is the size of the bracelet? I want to swap to a solid jubilee bracelet with a on the fly adjustable milled clasp, any suggestions would be much appreciated.
The lug size is 22mm. I hate to disappoint you, but my SKX replica is currently out of battery. I feel that replacing it would be worthless, so I'm saving up to get the real deal.
Lol...I have the same exact watch, also with installed bullbar and crystal protection. The watch is near indestructible, plus it looks good. I had it for almost a year now and am quite happy with it. I do clean it every week at least once though. For this amount of dirt I'd remove the bezel (unscrew those bolts) and the strap and clean it properly. ;)
I clean mine with detergent and an old toothbrush whenever I wear it outdoors for manual work. Although it has some visible scratches, the watch still works perfectly.
How does Skmei maintain profitability? It could be due to the use of cheaper raw materials or more cost-effective electronic components in its watches.
Both has 50m water resistant. The 1314 has a larger case size at 44.9mm and the 1381 at 39.9mm. I think the 1381 has a better appeal personally and versatile case size. If you have a large wrist then the 1314 is a better choice.😊
These are very nice watches ⌚️. In the years 👌, the stainless steel 👍 cases have gone to plastic 😉, and it is costing us MORE. True stainless steel watches ⌚️ costed us less, that being just slightly over 30 years ago. The Skmei watch was actually stainless steel, the Casio was not. Your friend, Jeff.
I’ve 2 first copies of A171 - one in steel (the one in this video) and the other in black (which Casio never made). It takes a Pro to identify that they’re copies. Also, those who look at the all black one (which Casio never made) have fallen in love with it !
@@FrugalWatchBox I think you’re referring to Gunmetal/black variant. I thought Casio never made an ‘all black’ variant. The first copy that I have is all-black.
@chriskelly509 i love both brands, Here's an improved version of your comment: I usually reserve my Casios for regular wear and use my Skmei for tough jobs.😁
Obrigado pelo seu comentário! O relógio Pallyjane é um modelo diferente, mas é ótimo ver outras opções acessíveis por aí. O que você mais gosta no seu Pallyjane?
