EPMD! Erick Sermon... I love that Jesse wears a lot of shirts of artists that most metalheads won't have a clue about. He's a fan of music in general not just metal.
When the guy pushing you is drunk and tripping on drugs, you can't compare that to hitting a tree! In a car accident with two people involved, the drunk intoxicated one is the guilty one. Randy's decision to go sober after that speaks volumes. No one would want their kid being pushed off a stage by anyone, let alone by an intoxicated person. Saying that Czech Republic is a poor country in this context is venal, pre-learned cynicism. Even "the Russians love their children too"...
I find it sad that Ian and Billy diss their earlier albums Love and Dreamtime. Both were excellent productions for the period. I will always listen to both of these albums. Ceremony also. They also stood out as very different from what I heard before. I can still listen to each over and over again and not get bored! Ian's voice is unique, my solace. Transcending me to another level. Always a comfort ❤❤
Ребята вы легенды у меня до сих пор сохранился балахон продиджи с 90-х годов точнее с 98 года с Китом на груди с его языком с пирсингом и оскалом и молодыми ребятами на спине в четвером с Лироем.
Such a great guy and a legendary musician... Mantas is one of a handful of people that transformed metal music in what it would be for decades on. Still, completely down to earth and ready to discuss about music and whatnot. Thanks for the interview.
From the body language, it looks like the original colleagues don't really gel amazing now. Abbadon looks the other way and mantis, has his legs crossed to the other direction. But, I'm glad they can be adults about the opportunity they have and it's really great to have the full spectrum of Venom available.
I love how the quiet, outsider kid ends up having an incredible voice. "The blues and sensuality in music is important" It's so funny that Rick Rubin worked with the Beastie Boys, the Cult, and the Red hot chili peppers. such diverse bands. I was listening to the cults Love album while listening, to the doors, the Beatles white album, Zeppelin, Metallica, and then grunge hit hard and all the cult music, AC/DC, Metallica prepared us for hearing Chris Cornell's voice and Soundgarden's "Break my rusty cage" yes. women are finding their power. "Game of Thrones" the next vice president (finally) But Ian is still one of my idols who is fearless on stage and sings his heart out. Red paint on the face .war. "ritual space" transcendence. Ian speaks very eloquently, and the part about us needing to ask for the first nations people elders help is right on. We should have done that more than 100 years ago. ATWA. Namaste. Jai Kali Maa!
One of the best front men/vocalist in rock music period. From 85-89 I didn’t play anyone more than I played the Cult. Ian and Billy still sounds amazing.
Righteuous and the butterfly is their best record in my opinion..XIII and savior sorrow are next in that order..the song Solitare unraveling is the one that made me a fan.. Xeroxed is the one that blew me away so XX will always be a special record for me.
the interviewer is not aligned at all with ian, not feeding onto his narrative, he had so many openings for her to explore much more interesting things but she goes for the basics and isnt attuned, like she is not really aware who she is sitting with. but he is just super cool, present, open, interesting, alive. beautiful.
