We are SOOO happy with the ex ambulance we bought from you and Frank, Rupert and the rest of the team have been absolute gems to deal with. We would recommend Basevan to everyone its excellent! 🎉
I love the sound of the Vario engine. I have fond memories of travelling in the Plaxton Beaver II and Cheetah bodied minibus, and minicoach variants. Thanks for the video.
I was in the ambulance service as a NHS paramedic. In the early hours , back at base, if the crew room was full I would sleep on the stretcher in these 😁
Lead/acid batteries are far better than lithium, lithium batteries die very fast in winter conditions, being a full timer myself I thought lithium was better because of all the online hype, turned out to be a waste of over £500 when they died within 5 months last winter in Scotland....Nice truck though but please don't bin the lead/acid accesseries already built in, it for one puts me off buying the truck
just helped my mates daughter get the Fiat Ducato through its MOT, must have spent about a week digging through decommissioned wiring and air suspension faults. Zero care taken throughout the decommission stage at all, just a quick rip out of essentials. Never again.
Hello I came across one of your RU-vid videos earlier. I’ve just purchased a Mercedes 416 sprinter , and in the process of getting the weight downgraded, got new weight plate and going to post it and the docs away tomorrow. I have a problem with insuring for some reason the van comes up on there system 316 Cdi and no one seems to insure the 416 thanks . I’ve you’ve any info would be much appreciated thanks all the best . It’s and ex police midium wheelbase panel van
Only requires a C1(7 1/2 ton ) licence, C1-E is articulated , i.e. drawing a trailer ., the E is basically " Extension " , B+E (car) up to 7 1/2 ton , c1=e, c+e (artic ) d+e bus/coach etc ., all which you need to sit a test on .
No fucking way, imagine all the people who died in that, all the blood and stuff that you would find in cracks etc when stripping it. Not for me, no way.
@@ApolloFreya I used to sleep on the stretcher in these when I worked in ambulance service on nights. If the crew room was full there was nowhere else to sleep 😁
I’ve got a modified 1.6 tdi 2011 SWB caddy…yes they have injector issues, but mainly on the 2011 to 2015, it was solved after that, the mpg is excellent even with a 5 speed box, I’ve had 50 mpg on the motorway, and day to day easy 45 ….. solid vans, don’t suffer from rust, hold their value, especially LWB tailgates, for converting…..with the two side doors 👍👌🇮🇲
