I never ran sealant through it. I bought it in sad shape from a shyster seal coated. The hose was clogged but I got it cleaned out by filling it with carb cleaner and pushing fish tape through it. The hose was 100 feet long. After the rebuild of the pump it would spray a very strong steam of water. I imagine it could spray foundation sealant.
Pro tip. That is from harbor freight. You can take that one in and exchange no questions asked. Also for any one curious thay can last a few years with care. I ran one for 4 years before trading it in.
I just ordered one. I have an old growth eastern white pine that was leaning dry. My last chainsaw gave out trying to mill some post out of it. Looked like someone took a fill to the piston at the exhaust port.
If you ever manage to get that started, which I doubt, and try to run it with your zero knowledge I think that you will be in great danger of serious injury
No doubt! About the zero knowledge thing. I’m a retired electrician, caring for my two adult disabled sons. I inherited my dad’s large wood shop but never had much interest in woodworking. I did however always have a need to know how things work. I learned how to do woodworking cuz that was dad’s second job( he worked at a railroad switching yard). He also taught me and my 7 siblings to hang Sheetrock, frame a house, among many other things. He never had time to fix his own stuff so I started tinkering with power tools around 5th grade. Did 6 years as an electrical tech in the Navy primarily TV and audio systems. After some college and a two year degree from an electronics school I spent 27 years as a traffic signal electrician for the city of Madison Wi, where I did most of the maintenance on many pieces of equipment. I only retired to care for my sons full time. ( so the risk of serious injury is very much on my mind). I have been very fortunate to have RU-vid videos to help me continue to learn many things. I see you have made a few videos yourself. I look forward to watching them. I’ll probably learning something! Then I won’t be at zero knowledge anymore. Thanks.
I also bought a 42” sawmill rig to use with this saw. That will be it main job. I have about a dozen 30”+ oak logs taken off my property( due to Oak Wilt). Also going to cut a bunch of cookies.
I hope I never have a need to change the piston rings! Or, jam the cylinder. Thanks for watching. I’m not much of a videographer, especially working alone. I have a short video of my first cut on a 32 inch Red Oak log. I’m pretty happy with the power of the saw. But it is very heavy.
The round thingies are piston ring holders that help compress the rings when installing the cylinder onto the piston and the 2 handle looking bits are for shoving into the cylinder through the spark plug hole to jam the piston. For a saw of that size the big loop recoil handle is a must, trust me on that one.
After finding the spring loaded compression bypass/relief button on the top of the unit near the handle( quite obvious except it’s black like the cover), it has much easier to pull and starts on the second or third pull. I’m going the carefully label the handle and cord but save them for a future use.

I was a little kid, 9 years old and we had a small engine repair business. I learned how to pull a starter rope till it started or the rope wore out. Than I became an expert on fixing pull ropes 😂 shortly after I became an expert on fixing them so they started on a 1/2 pull. I still have one Arm 💪 bigger than the other 😂.

I'm an amateur wood worker and want to get some cookies and boards to start drying. The trees were felled on 2/24/24, but are close to 40 inches across. My thinking is if I can mill them myself, I can save on hauling them and paying someone to mill them. They have the most burl on a tree that I've ever seen, and should make some nice furniture, bowls, and many other things.
It will be tough to get a range test. It is not street legal. Can’t get plates without a VIN. I have been testing it at our mini warehouse business. I can get it up to 30kph or 20mph. Do not buy one from SHANDONG AIGLE company. It is poor quality. Many, many issues. Still trying to figure out problems.
Good video brother just have two question for you how much sealer was run threw the pump and how old is the pump ? I just bought one to replace the on my trailer it said on the box so not run oil and chemicals I assume it will not do anything to the the seals in the pump what do you think?? Appreciate any information before I hook it up this Friday.. thank you a lot
It was abused by a rip-off Sealcoat business. Never cleaned. Left with Sealcoat to harden in the pump and hose and tank. I got my money back selling it after I got it back to operational condition.
Heck I'd love to know how much you got into it because some guy is selling these for I think 15000 and I can't tell if it's a ripoff to buy that DOT approved version for the cash.
Before you buy, do the research on what is required for an imported vehicle to be allowed to get license and registration in the US. Most of these truck manufacturers don’t provide a VIN, only a serial number. A VIN is required DOT for recall notification. Most of these truck will not pass crash tests, don’t have airbags, etc. My intention is to get vehicles that can be used in Wisconsin on ATv/UTV trails and routes. The State Department of Natural Resources( they issue atv/utv registration numbers) is at this time refusing to provide registration. I have some work to do to convince our state legislators to include these vehicles. Technically they should because they are designated as off road use from the manufacturers.
All in I’m just short of $10k. I’m considering it an investment in a demo vehicle for evaluating quality and reliability. Both of which are coming up short.
You will need a lot of tools and a good workshop to not only finish putting it together but figuring out all the “issues “ with it. From loose hydraulic fluid hoses to roof rack mounting tabs welded in the wrong place That’s just got starters.
