They're trying to write the legal definitions around American single malt at the moment. I believe it isS Jim Beam is pushing for a definition the required new oak, while the Texas Single Malt Whiskey Association (I think I have that right) and a coalition of others is pushing for a specification of used oak.
Not gunna lie, after my first sip, before u mentioned it, I thought there’s a sharpness there, and thought maybe a touch of grain. But the more I try to find it it’s very far back.

I have to say I was very skeptical at first as the only Australian whisky I tried was so so but the more I try of the Morris the more I’m impressed. For my taste I now think they beat the Scots for flavour, they’re delightful. Thank you Darren for your contribution your whiskeys are exceptional
