Have you fixed this up yet? I found your first video because I was searching for Tacoma Rubicon footage then started watching your 4Runner stuff. Great content man!
The short answer is no, a stock Tacoma won't make it without legendary lines and luck. This area is the gatekeeper (namesake implied). There would have been plenty of progress after that, along with bypasses. Would be cool to see a website where they note their vehicle details including tire-size, heighth/lift, and obstacles surpassed. This was a cool video, glad there was no serious damage to the vehicle.
Got ya a poon wagon. You can also use those exhaust studs to mount the knock sensors on the outside of the heads, so they last longer plus you wouldn't have to pull the intake off to replace them.
Do the drum brakes still stop it? I'd like to do the low AC & that water pump & a few other things on my swapped '65 C10. If you was closer I'd pay you to work on mine, but by your CA tags your too far away
A bit late here but YT only just served this up. I believe an experienced driver in the AEV or even ZR2 Colorado could readily make it to the bowl. The others...not so sure.
Hi! I’m doing a 1972 K10 LS swap What do I do with the gauge cluster? Is it possible to have a working speedometer and do the sell gauge clusters for this purpose? Thank you, Bill
The sbc's crankshaft sticks out .040 " so now you have .080" of space. Should be titled how to throw away money. Extra money for controller fab time. If your going electronic go 4L80E
