Hello. You are right. As per the records Ram Insight Pathania was captured by British General Wheeler and initially imprisoned in Almora. He was later transferred to Singapore, then to Moulmein (Mawlamyine) in Burma (Myanmar) in Rangoon jail, where he died. Regards!
Dear, the advisory Council WAS constituted on 30th September 1948 and was originally planned to have seven members-three rulers and four public representatives-all nominated by the Central Government in consultation with the Chief Commissioner. But later due to the efforts of Praja Mandlaist the final composition included two rulers and five public representatives: Rulers: The Raja of Mandi: Joginder Sen The Raja of Baghat: Durga Singh Public Representatives: Smt. Lila Devi (Mandi) Dr. Y.S. Parmar (Sirmaur) Mehta Avtar Chand (Chamba) Swami Purnanand (Mandi) Shri Padam Dev (Mahasu) The rulers claimed a third seat, leading to the Central Government's decision to increase the council's membership from seven to nine. Hence, 2 additional members were added: the Raja of Chamba Laxman Singh and Shri Shiv Charan Dass, a businessman and social worker from Solan, inducted on 8th December 1948. Regards !

Parmar in 1942 that the Praja Mandal was given official status, as they even set up "Raj Parishad". However, the point discussed here is that Sirmaur Estate Praja Mandal (Sirmaur Riyati PM) was set up in 1944. Both are different. Sirmaur Praja Mandal had a more localized focus, dealing with immediate grievances, while Sirmaur Estate Praja Mandal was more politically oriented and aligned with the national struggle for independence.
