how tall are you? because i’m 5’5 (as of now im only 13) and im trying to get one of them for my birthday. i don’t want to waste money by not being tall enough and nit able to ride.
@Jack's Garage At EbikeZilla , the cost of the MX-3 motor is more than the MX-4's. Why?...because the MX-3 motor can safely run 10,000 RPM where the MX4 can only do 8,000 rpm. RU-vidr Stingy Rogers discovered this fact. Oh...one more fact. Talaria recently released their 2nd generation controller for the 2025 Sting R. It's easily identified from the 1st generation Sting R controllers by the inscribed words reading STING R. The first generation Sting R controller inscribed on the face simply read TALARIA. The new 2025 Sting R controller has a 10% power gain over the 2023's R controller.
@Jack's Garage The MX-3 motor was designed to take more punishment than the MX-4. The MX-3 is capable of running 10,000+ RPM, where the MX-4 can only run 8,000 RPM. See it in the clip below. ru-vid.comUgkx5pUUnju7-LrzsKglmYQE6wXx-0bvpjt1
I just got a free sport.. new to these. I have a geo bigfoot witch is currently not running. But the sport, I changed the fuel lines and new gas and it fires right up. Super stoked.. just doesn't move? The spindle looks really worn out and I'm not sure how the axle works with the purple thing to keep it tight against the spindle so I'm not sure if that's why it doesn't move or not
is it reliable and how many miles of range do you get because im debating on getting the mx3 or the xxx which im 6'1 so i can get the offroad tires on it but would rather get the mx3. Please let me know.
Whats the range on it. I cant decide whether to buy the xxx or mx3. Im 6'1 and need a bigger bike so should i get the xxx with the taller tires or this one? I also need around 50 miles of range and 50 mph.
Im currently debating getting MX3. I plan to upgrade it, and it's easily done within a year if you dont mind spending that type of money on it. Battery upgrade is for sure needed. My nami burn-e hyperscooter will offset the battey cost. Subscribed ❤

i have one but it won't engage the clutch when i try and ride it. it just revs and never goes anywhere. is there any hope for a 200lb person to ride one of these things or do you know any ideas as to why its not working?
Do not get the rawr mantis lol barely any aftermarket parts and quality is shit trust me I rode them and my friends have them get a talaria or eride pro
MX3 and MX4 uses gearbox and is awesome for trail riding and off-road great suspension and XXX is great for street riding since its already comes with supermoto tires and has belt drive.
It was about 7 miles mostly in sport mode, and off road. It does really good in Eco mode. I rode about 30 miles whole trip mostly in Eco mode, and was at 67% charge when i was done 🤟
It's really not bad at all. You will want to get off of the bike by the time you need to charge it, lol. Keep in mind he was in grass and soft sand nearly the entire time...mileage will be better on asphalt. These are really sick and when it's time to upgrade the battery it doesn't cost much more to get one with even more range.
The batteries are practically the same size, power output is pretty much the same, doesn’t seem worth the extra $1000. Performance of the bike is great, i think in the future ill end up getting the Chi battery 60v 70ah touring battery for extended ranged 🤟 cheers!
Bummer man, my MX3 and MX4 were both good to go out of the box. Hope you get running soon! I have a WR250R too but find myself riding the emotos more, lol. The initial price of entry with these bikes can seem a little steep to "only" go 50mph but they are incredibly fun and will more than likely get you riding even more often. Everything else can be adjusted or upgraded. Heck you can easily blow $1k on a gas bike with a fuel controller and exhaust that provide nearly no perceptible performance gain. Spending that $1k on a Torp controller gets you instantly unlockable power, tuning and customization. Since you paid less than MSRP and got a "deal" I must say it would be tempting to sell the stock motor/controller/battery and turn that thing into a 72V beast. You're already into it for less than most of us, and will hopefully be getting a fresh new battery soon. Either way have fun man!
Great points! The Dealer I purchased from here in Florida, made it right, and got me a new battery next day! Currently making an update to this🤟 thanks man!
The rear suspension is completely adjustable. You can adjust the dial on it and the tension on spring. The rear suspension just comes stock like that or at least that's how my mx3 came too.
I loved building that thing. I’m so glad you ended up with it and giving it the love and attention to detail it deserves! Sounds great handles like a beast!
Awesome video hands-down love it. You know, Scott and I are some precision drivers lmao. No but seriously it’s probably your gear ratio felt good but not the exact one you needed.
