We have left our home in the UK to be a sailing family living aboard our yacht for two years in the Med. We plan to be travelling through Greece, Turkey, Albania and Montenegro.
Watch us to find out what it's really like to be a liveaboard and own a boat, no sugar coating here.
Enjoy our rise and falls as we navigate this amazing way of life!
Aw Happy birthday to Leo🎈my daughter will be 5 soon😊. Would be nice to see a little video about you all, a bit of background, where you’re from, jobs, what ur plans are, what you did with ur house. Also out of interest how you plan on homeschooling,,, we’re looking at moving onto a narrowboat! Very different I know! But not sure what to do about schooling my daughter😅 Love your videos x
Dacron sails indeed last much longer than laminated ones. Unfortunately, they lose their proper profile much quicker than laminated ones which makes them far less efficient. The older a dacron sail is, the more it just makes you heel over instead of move forward. A laminated sail will keep its profile until it falls apart. A 16 year old dacron sail may look good when lying on deck. However, the profile is definitely gone. Surely, cacron sails are a good choice for cruising when speed is not much of a factor. Just know what you compare them to.
nothing wrong with sailing throigh an anchorage, and the grounding looked intentional, motoring through an anchorage and leaving a wake along with grounding on rocks is bad
Boat is looking lovely! I was expecting lots of boat work videos, but then Boom.. you’re in the water! And the boat looks so different now, like new! Happy to see you wasn’t stuck on the hard for ages. Are the boys loving it? x
It is a very good course. If you take it seriously and do all the theory you will have great knowledge and an improving skill set. No one fails this either. It is the next ones where you are on the line. Is it not 030 to stop confusion with 13 deg?
