There a little bit of something in each look that I favor. But I do have the items to pull-off #3. I would not have thought to pair my plaid blazer with an all-red base.

You did a nice job making your own denim shorts. They look good on you. I agree with the people who say to sew the sides so you can keep the rolled hem look. Also if some of you say that the shorts are too short, you can always make them longer. I would have left them long after the first cut and then rolled them up if it were me before sewing the sides, but what you did worked. Something about women’s shorts, especially those from jeans, is pretty flattering and attractive. Good one.
