Asbestos is only dangerous when it is airborn. It's most likely the insulation on those pipes is just fiberglass and the tile more modern commercial non asbestos type. The elevator doors are bolted to keep people from opening them and falling into the shaft. It's a safety thing. Tool at 19:24 is a pop rivit tool. Since the power is still on to some extent, looks like only one phase is on out of the 3 phase supply to that place, it is safe to assume that the building is nowhere near abandoned, in fact no property is really abandoned because someone ownes it if not an individual then some bank or real estate outfit or if all else fails the county will own it due to property tax leans. point is someone owns it. and since the lights are on then someone does keep an eye on it.
This is Hawthorn Mall in Vernon Hills Illinois. It's not abandoned, that's just the part they blocked off because they are remodeling the entire place, that part is abandoned but the mall is not
At 18:47 that alarm should have tripped instantly or in about 20 seconds of that pull station being pulled. At 19:27 you can see a rectangular hold in the wall inside the airlock, where I assume a Simplex LCD announciator would be located for the fire alarm system. it is gone so the system was mostly likely taken out just that device and maybe a few more remained. The "Alarm" was a siren on a STI stopper used to prevent false alarms. It will stop when the cover it put back up, so no. the alarms never went off. Also the pull and that push station would have tripped an alarm or set of a suppression system (Basically a giant fire extinguisher that goes off for the room its protecting) when either the pull or push station was activated or two smokes were tripped. So more proof the system was not operating.
You didn’t actually pull it, the fire alarm system DOESN’T actually work. That’s just a cover that sounds when opened. The actual alarm system does not work as you pulled 2 pull/push stations and nothin happened. That thing is just to alert ppl that someone has opened the cover and is abt to pull the alarm.
I took 2 huge TV's, a bunch of tools, 8 GameCube Controllers, a PS3 and the controller, a Blueray Player, a bunch of tubs of legos, a giant printer, a super expensive looking Projector, a bunch of movies, and a bunch of PS2 games, and a bunch of other stuff from this place. It's like a hidden jackpot
Actually do this. Write a Hand written apology letter on a piece of paper and mail it to them saying that your sorry and if you can be unbanned. Someone at my school did that to get unbanned from Wallmart and it worked. Just put something like you are poor and could not afford to pay for it and the you won't ever do it again and you've been shopping there your whole life and your family shops there to and write it in cursive and spell everything correctly and make it as professional and fancy as possible. It might work
Dumpster Diving is not illegal, I do it all the time at BestBuy, GameStop, and places like that. Also what did you do to get banned? Did you steal? I stole a toy bat from goodwill when I was a kid and also I would switch the stickers on stuff to get it cheaper, I don't do that now tho. Also I would say you can go back to all of the other goodwills, just not the one you got banned from. I guarantee even if they catch you at a different one, they won't have everyone who got banned on file, you could also just give them a fake name or if you want, you could wear a mask and a face shield thing and stuff to cover your identity and make it harder to be recognized or wear a wig that changes your hair color or anything like that so they don't recognize you. Just don't go back to the one you got banned at
I remember this house. I took the Wii and every game I could find, I couldn't just leave them their to rot. I also took the really expensive "discontinued" Lego trucks from the disgusting moldy flooded basement
You didn’t sound the fire alarm. That is actually a fire alarm stopper, which prevents people from making false alarms. If you lift it, the stopper alarm will sound which means someone has lifted the cover.
Hah, actually most would be amazed how many malls end up in this state. A lot of explorers have been doing this for years now, only if you slow down the fps of the footage and add some effects you can make the backrooms vibe come easily
