Which one of these was used in which shareware games? This is an interesting revelation. I would also agree that they likely came from some MIDI library, although given how many of these were a thing in the 90s it will probably not be easy to track down the source.

Yeah, Steve Caires is my friend and back in high school he would sing "3 and a half nougats of crack" (to the melody of this MIDI). This is actually my remix of a pretty quick melody-only MIDI he made - I know he wrote the Y in the filename of the original. The accordion part was inspired by Weird Al's polkas. Pretty sure I composed this closer to 2001, according to some modified timestamps and what the Internet Archive says.
I have been looking for the identity of this song for almost 30 years. I think when I was a kid I saved it from Doom's "E2Music.wad" file and converted it to a MIDI because I liked it. Ever since then I tried finding out what it was, every few years... today that mystery is solved. THANK YOU!

Didn't expect to find this on RU-vid. This song has been stuck in my mind forever, since I was fooling around with the Voyetra CD. What a great channel!
I am wondering what these MIDIs were intended for myself. My best guess would be these are demo tracks that shipped with a MIDI sequencer. As for which one, I haven't figured that out yet. All of the copies of MidiSoft Recording Session I found ship with different songs.
