The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation is the state agency responsible for managing fish and wildlife. This is a collection of videos celebrating the Department's programs and success as well as highlighting the abundance of outdoor opportunities we enjoy in the great state of Oklahoma!
Outstanding!! I've made several self-bows and laminated multi-wood bows thanks to an old friend who taught me. It's a lot of work, but very satisfying when it all comes together. I've never knapped a point though. Great work and video.
I was thinking that nylon sewing thread 🧵🧵🧵🧵 could be the best line for fishing line and when I was thinking of the pole.. l thought I could use the 2-1/2 to 3 feet of a straight branch.... Just the tip of the branch.. and go from there... I will try it out...
Im originally from South Louisiana and married a man that was an excellent duck hunter. I went a few times with him and im not good at all lol. For some reason i have a hard time shooting flying targets. Im good with rabbits on the run ,deer but birds ,, i suck.
Am I the only one here who is disappointed in all these inline scoped rifles that use powder pellets? You might as well be using an AR or Remington 700. The whole point of muzzleloader season is so hunters can hunt how our ancestors did, not as a means to grab a little more game. Cap and flintlocks are pretty reliable. They just require modern man’s bane-skill.
Please bring this back or crank out the Wipers. No pure striped bass stockings in 6 yrs now by ODWC and another low water dam along the Arkansas threatens a thinner striper population.
Plz crank out the Wipers (consistently to build a strong fishery - not just to thin out other predators like Crappie) Oklahoma has the ability to be make our waters top wiper fisheries- do it! Nice work! 🫡
With the way our nation is being run, the only folks who can afford land are rich developers and foreign nations. That pushes more folks to public land or to an expensive lease. Price of land has gotten way out of hand.
Hey, cool to see you in a thing on the internet. I believe you're the same guy that brought us deers that you had to put down, we were homeless and you provided us meet. Thank you for that.
I've fished at that exact spot before, and I used to hang out under the dam all the time, I used to only live a couple miles away. still some of the prettiest territory in the state, in my opinion. it will always be home to me.
