Hi Mitch and Michael. My wife and I got 2 reservations a piece but one of hers and one of mine conflicts with each other. We got the Muppets 70 a glamorus ms piggy retrospective, an ILM stagecraft, the Percy Jackson panel, and the NG ocean explores. We are going to the Honda Center as well. As you guys said now we are planning our free time between shopping and stand by.We have enjoyed you guys videos on D23.
Hi Tim, Love that you all got the Muppets! We will be in that standby line for sure. Sorry that 2 of them conflict but looks like you got some good ones. YAY! The Honda center is exciting. Nervous to see how transportation is truly going to go but glad they made the space larger for these huge panels. What other panels are you trying to get into? Awww, thank you so much for watching and the kind words, that really means a lot to us. If you see us running around at D23 please come say hi, we would love to meet you all. :)
Every pin in that lot is unfortunately fake. The biggest clue is the individual bags with the red line at the top. You will not get limited edition, limmited releases, or Paris pins that cheaply. Every pin either had the dry scrapey look (like the Hades coffee), or the soft wet enamel look. Many of the pins in this video are the exact same ones found on every single board in Disney. They continue to use the same molds for the last 20 years. You are not going to get a brand new pin with a year from 20 years ago.
Thanks for your feedback! Some of these are definitely easy to tell they're fake. Too bad there's not a way for Disney to be more strick about the pins being traded. Are you a big Pin Trader? Would love to know what pins you like to collect.
For d23 predictions I hope they finally announce more about and start construction on that avengers e ticket ride that they have been promising us since 2019 for California adventure
@magicalkeysvacations I don’t think so because the reason the original jetpack seat version of the avengers e ticket ride was cancelled, was because of 2 main things: 1. Imagineering was gutted after Disney tried to force them to move to Florida or lose their jobs, so many left to work for universal. This drastically affected the creative ability of Disneys park projects. And 2. Around this time the higher ups started budget cutting everything. And they realized they could get away with it because people would be coming in droves regardless. So it was cancelled because the higher ups didn’t wanna pay the money required for a big budget ambitious ride. And they no longer had the creativity and talent needed to make that ride a reality. This new version of the avengers e ticket is way less ambitious and not big budget anymore, but it seems to be “mid” level in terms of budget. The company that owns the majority stake of Hong Kong Disneyland paid for half of the development costs of the first version, under the agreement that they would get to clone it there too. That deal still stands even though it’s a different version of the ride. So basically Disney owes them an e ticket ride, that is why they cant cancel it completely. Plus they can just clone it here at California adventure. Had that not been the case I definitely think it would have been permanently canceled. As for expanding the campus itself, they had originally planned on expanding it to the Hollywood backlot but it seems that has been canceled, since avatar is rumored to be going there. But we are getting a wakanda expansion of the campus as part of Disneyland forward. Anyways all I hope is that the upcoming avengers e ticket ride turns out to be good, because I’m worried it’ll turn out disappointing like web slingers.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. I have clients that keep telling me i should read bedtime stories for audiobooks lol. Maybe i'll add that to the list. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I am going in November and am trying to figure out which shore excursion to sign up for. I really want to learn about and see the mayan ruins, there are so many choices! I'm going to put this shore excursion on my top 5 list.
Thank you for watching! They have so many excursions that look amazing. This one was special because it was such a small group as well. Make sure you bring some nausea medicine if your ferry ride was anything like ours 😂. There was so much information that we got with this tour. What other excursions are you looking at?
@@magicalkeysvacations so they just opened up the list of shore excursions on the app tonight and unfortunately this shore excursion is not on the list. Ugh, im so upset it seemed so beautiful and such a perfect balance of activities i wanted to experience (ruins and water). Thinking of just doing Chichen Itza instead since its that or Tulum Ruins and ive heard their not as impressive as Cichen Itza so id rather go big instead.
Keep an eye on it. I feel like they added more as time got closer. Just keep checking on it and we'll keep our fingers crossed. I've heard others say that the Chichen Itza excursion was also good so it could be a good 2nd option. Let us know what you end up going with and if this excursion ever pops up.
Love hearing that, which itinerary did you all do? Razzle Dazzle was definitely a better option for dinner than lunch but we're going to try the lunch again and see if it was a fluke. What was your favorite Eatery on your cruise?
Great video - I'm sure so many people will find this one so useful! I love that dance party, but I do wish they'd change it up a bit - feels like something that really should change every year, but it's really same-y if you're a loyal VV cruiser... Same with Dual Reality!
Thank you so much!!! Coming from you that means so much.😊 You've been on so many cruises, how many times on VV? It was interesting because the Scarlet Night Dance Party we had one outside, which was phenomenal and then a weather related one where we were inside, which was fine. Duel Reality had some changes this time we saw it because of how bad the weather was but would definitely be cool if they added in new stunts and played around with the elements within the show.
@@magicalkeysvacations ahh, thanks a lot! So I’ve done 3 now with VV I think - I really love travelling with them. They’ve got SUCH a fresh product! Keep up the great work!
You're very welcome. Nice! They really are great to travel with, we tell everyone about VV. Have you done the Greek Isle Glow cruise by chance? We're going next summer and very excited. Thank you, we will. :)
Hi Guys: Please confirm that all guests in your dining party must be registered on the virgin app before you can make a dining reservation. It's not in the video.
Hi! Thanks for dropping in. Yes, everyone needs to be registered on the app and linked so you can make dining reservations for your party. Also, everyone will need to complete all their steps so they can get the same boarding times. Have you gone on Virgin yet?
Thanks so much! We did the Beach Club last year and we stopped by for a little bit this time. Honestly, we're not good at lounging at the beach. We get bored pretty quickly (well, Mitchell does lol) and we love learning about the culture and exploring destinations. The beach club is a good time if you're hanging out at the pool. What's your favorite part of the Beach Club?
@@magicalkeysvacations Fair enough, but the Beach Club is pretty clearly the go-to-option for Bimini. Private club. It’s only you and other Virgin Voyagers. They feed you. Your bracelet works there. Beach? Check. Pool party? Check.
Beach Club is extremely fun! Everyone is having a blast and very friendly. The only thing, and we hate to say it because Virgin has amazing food. The food is not great at the Beach Club but everything else gets high marks.
$200! Now let’s chat about this, stick with us for a second. The biggest thing people are concerned about is the “Disney Price Tag”! While it may seem big initially, when you break it down it’s pretty reasonable and you only need $200 to get booked! That’s right, you don’t have to pay for your whole trip right away, you can make payments and chip it away over time. Currently you can book your Disney package out all the way to October 2025! If you’re wanting to go to Walt Disney World then we recommend setting up your trip 6 months to a year plus out so you can pay it over time. And $200 is pretty reasonable to set up a Walt Disney World Package for your family. If you book travel protection that is due at the time of booking. However, you can always add it on later if you don’t want to pay that right away. And your final payment isn’t due until 30 days til the start of your trip. We hope that relieves some of your stress and now you are wanting to plan your Walt Disney World Vacation! Save for later and drop your questions below. If you’re ready to book we’d love to work with you! 😊
That's exciting, which cruise are you doing? Only about a 10 minute walk from the hotel, it was Ceviches by Divino. Let us know if you go and what you think.
Just wondering if this was a most recent visit or you're just uploading the video. 😊 I booked this hotel based on your video. 😂 I think it has everything I'll need. Leaving for a cruise soon.
It's from our most recent trip when we were there in February. Thank you so much, we're glad you liked it and it convinced you to stay there. It was a really nice Hotel and it's in a good spot. Great food, plenty of fitness classes around and a short Uber to the ports or if you want to hit up different parts of Miami. Let us know what you think of it. Which cruise are you going on?
@magicalkeysvacations Thanks for responding! It's a very nice video. We are going on Carnival Magic for Cozmel, Belize, and Mohogany Bay. I saw the hotel prior to seeing your video. After watching it, I knew this was the place. We will spend 3-4 days here before we cruise. We will definitely take in some scenery while there. So this was a nice confirmation. I appreciate it.
Going next month having never been on a cruise OR been to America. Very excited. Will you be doing an excursion? If so I would love to see! It’s so hard to pick an excursion.
You're going to have the most amazing time! Yes, we did an excursion and have that video that will be coming out in a few weeks. Are you going on Scarlet Lady? Which Itinerary are you going on? We did the Sianka'an UNESCO World Heritage Site & Muyil Ruins Excursion as well as the Bimini Heritage and Cultural Tour. Both we're very educational and we highly recommend.
@@magicalkeysvacations yes going on scarlet lady! Going to Costa maya and Bimini beach club. I can’t wait. We decided to do a snorkelling excursion. My husband and I are currently devising a game plan for how to book the classes and spa treatments fast enough😂
You're going to have a blast. You'll have to let us know how you like it. Use both phones, surely one of the phones will be quicker. You can visit the spa area to book the treatments. We just posted our first excursion review video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QuNcPqWDeGI.html
You're going to have the best time! We just got back and already looking at going again next year. Our new videos coming out will be all about our Virgin trip this year, tips and tricks and reviews. If you have any questions before you leave let us know.
Our fairy god-agents. It was one of my favorite parts of our experience with you all. I would have lost it trying to book all-the-things in the middle of the night!
🥰 We loved being able to make this vacation so magical and are excited to be working on your next Disney Vacation already. Haha yes, getting sleep for your trip is super important. Glad we were able to take that stress off you.
I bet I cook better than that "fine dining" bs and I am just a regular student from Europe. I can tell by just looking at it. It's hilarious how people fall for that.
Can you have your steak without the cheese or whatever it is on top? I would not be able to even look at it if it was dished to me lol i dont eat any type of melted cheese or butter or margarine or anything with garlic in it or any fish or seafood. And i like my steak well done, don't want it still mooing 😂😂
Yes, You should be able to request the steak without the cheese. They will ask you if you have any dietary needs, so just let them know when they take your order. oh no, are you allergic to those items or just prefer not to have them? You can asked for it well done, we like it medium lol
awesome :) no no allergies or anything, i just cant stand to look at or eat melted cheese or anything with garlic or any fish or seafood products, they just turn my tummy@@magicalkeysvacations
Such a shame about the French toast as I was really looking forward to that. Saying that I normally have my French toast or pancakes in what I call mayple syrup soup lol I literally have a lot of mayple syrup. Maybe I should just ask them to bring me the pot hehe 😂😂
Yes, but I would try the pancakes or see if they have french toast at the Galley for the all day breakfast section. I'm sure they would bring you a lot. They gave us a side dish of it for our pancakes.
We actually have the wake booked for our last night on our upcoming cruise too. Thought we'd go out in style ❤ we are doing 5 nights, so was able to book each of the restaurants once bar test kitchen (that really was not to our pallet), then booked razzle dazzle and the wake on opposite nights for 4 mornings for breakfast, leaving the galley for the morning we disembark :) and for lunch were not sure what we will do, probably a mixture of the galley the dock, the sun club and the athletics club ❤
Those are all great options! You'll have to let us know what you think. We know you said you don't like melted cheese but do you enjoy pizza? If so you have to try the Pizza Place.
we have had to change our dining to fit in with the shows, as so many shows and parties overlap, we had to try a way to fit them all in and not miss any. the only night we could fit in "another rose" and not miss something else was our last night onboard and thats when we was booked in at the wake. and i really wanted to try there. so we will do another rose that night then we have cancelled our booking for the 2nd night onboard at gunbae and booked the wake in that time slot instead :) so now we wont have enough nights to do the test kitchen or gumbae, but thats ok :) i wasnt sure if id enjoy gunbae anyway, so would rather do the wake anyway :)@@magicalkeysvacations
yes i do if they are very light on the cheese and have toppings on that cover the entire pizza. im hoping that i can order the peperoni pizza and have the entire pizza covered in the pepperoni. do you think that they will do that for me?? im a bit surprised, they have all the times for the food places and bars now listed in the app. theres not really any bars open during the day, most dont open till around 5pm, and it says the 1st night that the pizza place closes at midnight but the rest of the cruise they have it closing at 6pm or 6:30pm , surely those times are not right@@magicalkeysvacations
im such a dingbat lol i saw on a post on fb someone ask what time to book in the dinners to fit in with the shows and someone mentioned to book after 7pm on the first night because of the sailaway party, i totally had not thought of that at all. so had to go back into the app and edit our booking for razzle dazzle for that night as we had it booked for 6pm. the only available time was 9:15pm, so itll be a very late dinner for us. might grab a bite fr4om the galley or the pizza place just after sailaway so were not famished hehe@@magicalkeysvacations
It can be tricky stacking the shows and dining at the correct time. Luckily the shows usually have 2 times (some don't) but glad you were able to adjust to what you really wanted.
Awww thanks, I actually did my yoga certification years ago. I get that a lot in the fitness classes i currently teach as well. 😆 Hope you're having a great day.
@@magicalkeysvacations no not yet. We leave on the 16th December so a month from today :) were so eager for it hehe I'll let you know what we think on our return :) were hoping to love it :)
this video is great but the volume isn't consistent between your voice over and recorded footage. Just a tip for next time cause I keep having to raise/lower my headset volume and sometimes get blown out w/ volume lol
Glad you liked the video and thank you for the feedback. Any input on best way to balance volume? Definitely still learning with every video and making sure to balance them better. Are you going/ have gone on a Virgin Voyage Cruise? I (Mitchell) see you just did a D&D review on Dark Alliance, going to have to go check it out.
Connecting with the crew definitely helped. Since we're retired dancers we really connected with a few of the performers and are still friends with them. We were also in the right place when they were picking people. The crew is awesome! The fun thing is there are sooooo many things going on at once during Scarlet Night that you'll have your own special experience that no one else will have. What kind of activities do you look for on the ship? Those are otehr ways you can connect with others as well as the happening cast.
usually i love broadway type shows, like musicals ( i know that virgin doesnt do that) but hoping they will when we cruise on quantum of the seas next march :) and i love live music :) @@magicalkeysvacations
Check in was a breeze and we got in earlier than our time given. She was so nice, honestly we didn't meet one person we didn't like. Have you sailed on other ships before?
For us it did last the entire cruise. We also used it for some coffee. We didn't go too hard on the drinking, just a few a day. It depends on how much you want to drink though. I've seen people buy a few of the $300 bar tabs and fly through it. The price of the drinks and cocktails is extremely reasonably especially because tips are already included. What is your drink of choice?
actually i love mocktails and a triple strength latte is my main drink i have every day, at a cafe. if i have a cocktail i love a pina colada or a toblerone/mudslide but i havent seen these drinks anywhere on the menu. ive seen frozen pina coladas but not a normal one @@magicalkeysvacations
Pina Colada is my favorite. If you go to gunbae get the one in our video. I believes it's a sunset or sunrise something. Similar to a pina colada and soooo good. There's a coffee spot in the Galley that you can grab coffee and I'm sure they could make that.
i was thinking of going here on the 2nd night of our 5 night cruise, so maybe we can meet some other people :) but i dont eat fish or seafood and i notice in this video that they cook them all together, if my meat tasted fishy i could not eat it. also you mentioned about the sauces and said that one was a mushroom sauce, i also do not eat mushrooms, but i noticed that they just poured al of the sauces on the entire tray, as i mentioned in your video at test kitchen, i have a very sensitive tummy, can i have my meat cooked seperatley and no mushroom sauce for eg?? i know that everyone raves over the food on virgin, but the food onboard is really taking me out of my comfort zone, i like more of a home cooked/pub type food, so i am concerened that im going to be eating dessert in the galley 3 meals a day lol
You will definitely be able to meet and mingle with new friends here. Honestly, we met someone new at every restaurant and had such a wonderful time connecting with them. The meat didn't taste fishy at all. Is it an allergen or do you not like mushrooms? They will ask if there's any allergen or dietary needs and should be able to accommodate. We tried some things that we're a little different and it was great. Do you like Korean BBQ or have tried it? We have a friend who is not adventurous at all and loved a similar restaurant.
not allergic to fish/seadood or mushrooms, they just make me feel ill and im almost sick when i eat them, the same as melted cheese or garlic, i cant even look at melted cheese as it makes me feel ill as does the smell of garlic. no have never tried koreon bbq before or done anything similar, but it looks fun :) @@magicalkeysvacations
i dont think that we will go here on our cruise, im not very adventurous, i have a very sensitive tummy, unless my fiance wants to go, i will. i just would not have the egg yolk on the peas, nor eat the mushroom, seafood, or cream cheese sections of the menu, they would have to cook my beef well done if possible, then the dessert id love :) maybe they can just give me the dessert for every course hehe. i would just go to the galley afterwards if still hungry :)
They do have 2 different menus and it changes while you're on the ship. You could always talk to them ahead of time and see what they will be serving. The nice thing is you could definitely do one of the other restaurants. We had to skip Razzle Dazzle for dinner because we didn't have enough nights to do all of them but that has gotten great reviews for dinner. The dessert was really good. The galley had awesome food and the desserts up there were really good also. What are your favorite foods to eat?
home cooked or pub style meals. just something nice and simple. on virgin i dont even know what most of the meals are, ive never heard of 90 per cent of the food that they talk about in the description of each meal. im not adventerous in my eating at all. so this cruise im really pushing myself out of my comfort zones in everything from the food to the entertainment to the raunchiness of the cruise. its our honeymoon cruise, so im very excited for it, and im hoping that ill love it, but just not sure@@magicalkeysvacations
Proud of you for trying new things on this cruise. There's so many options we know you'll find things you love/ We had an absolute blast! It is a little different but in a fun way. Which ship are you going on?
awesome im hoping so :) im very excited for it :) were cruising on resillient lady on december 16th for 5 nights, so just before christmas :) im wondering if virgin will do the ship up with christmas decorations like the standard cruise lines, im hoping that they will but i wont be surprised if they dont@@magicalkeysvacations
That's a great idea, any beach clubs you suggest? We're going back in February and going to try and do one of the excursions through Virgin Voyages. Have you sailed on Virgin?
@@magicalkeysvacations hi! I’m sailing Virgin on Jan 2. Fire & Sunset Soirées. There are many beach clubs in Cozumel, you can check google maps and choose based on photos etc. i think the south side has better beaches.
