Nice vid. Was this inspired by the 2011 adaptation by Andrea Arnold ?I noticed that because you use the song The Enemy from Mumford and Sons and I remember that being a big theme song for that film which I liked
Thanks! Our main inspiration was the book, but we used the 2011 theme song because we really liked it! But we didn't tried to make anything like the movie, starting by the costumes ^^ The book is set in the 1780-ish and in the movie they go more for a Regency vibe, for example ^^

This is lovely- the juxtaposition between them as kids and them as adults is hauntingly beautiful. It really just gives the whole thing a sadness it wouldn’t otherwise have.
