Too much free advertising of tourist traps for me to take this video seriously. Also, is it about Naples or Sorrento or Capri? You can´t do all of these place in a day. Having said that, Naples is fascinating and horrible at the same time - cathedrals, art galleries and elegance along with slums, garbage and people who are friendly on the surface but basically untrustworthy. Almost every place I went to had “problems” with their Internet link and I had to pay cash. Still, definitely worth a visit. I love Italy.
See you soon.
From a local, don't rent bikes because city isn't that big you'll be staying in the very center and your bike can be stolen any time and the shop will charge you even if it is insured, don't come people don't like tourists
Here's a summary of the top 10 things to do in Naples, as recommended by locals in the video: 1. Start with Coffee: Enjoy a traditional Neapolitan espresso (caffè) at a local café. 2. Try Sfogliatella: Sample this traditional pastry, especially at a place near Napoli Central Station. 3. Visit Pompeii and Herculaneum: Take a day trip to these ancient Roman cities preserved by Mount Vesuvius' eruption. 4. Explore the Spanish Quarter: Walk through this authentic neighborhood, starting with the Toledo metro station. 5. Discover Street Art: Observe the numerous murals and graffiti throughout the city, especially in the Spanish Quarter. 6. Visit Pignasecca Market: Experience this lively local market for a taste of real Naples. 7. Eat Neapolitan Pizza: Try authentic Neapolitan pizza at a local pizzeria. 8. Walk Spaccanapoli: Explore this long street that "splits Naples in two," full of hidden gems, churches, and local life. 9. Try Caprese Salad: Enjoy this simple but flavorful dish that represents the Italian flag. 10. Take a Day Trip: Visit nearby attractions like the Amalfi Coast, Capri, or Sorrento for scenic views and relaxation. The video emphasizes experiencing Naples through its food, art, history, and local culture, highlighting the city's chaotic but charming nature.
OK, it sounds good... how can I contact a good street Photographer for one day trip n Napoli? I wouldn't bother wit shopping, crowd area but specific streets and life reality of Naples...
the most disgusting place we have ever visited, the graffiti is EVERYWHERE, there's rubbish EVERYWHERE, the drivers are impatient and on the horn all the time, we saw human faeces in places. We went to the excellent museum and got out of there. What an absolute hell hole!
