@CrabbingWithTony well yesterday's catch i gave to my sister, and i believe she steamed them. The ones i caught the other day, i steamed them, and then when they cooled, i picked them and made crab cakes . I've grilled them too before. Next time i go, im going to try them on my smoker.
Hey Tony this is Mrs B the last time we went crabbing I think we caught about 3 and 1/2 dozen as I said I'm originally from Maryland but we live in Georgia now I'm actually like about an hour and 40 minutes from Jacksonville we actually used to live in Jacksonville as well we've traveled all over but I enjoy your content keep doing what you do and like I said the sauce is amazing😊
Hey Tony! I prefer unclean crabs. Just the Maryland way. lol. Have you ever tried adding a lil beer in the water? It adds additional flavor to the crabs. I love watching your vids. Thank for sharing!!!
we usually go down in the the port st joe/mexico beach area and we tear them up. unfortunately since that water is so salty we do wind up catching alot of females but anything below 5-6" we throw back. couple weeks ago we caught 40+ blues it was wild! I love your videos
Hey Tony, did Tobey ever tell you where he got the vinyl coated traps from that you crab with? I have the large 30in ones but would love to use a smaller version.
Hi Tony hope all is good. Just wanted to let you know I was at a couple of your spots yesterday. First spot was pretty dead just like two baby crabs so I left and went to your other spot near that restaurant and did pretty good but was still slow ended up with about 10 keepers for the day but I did catch a big black drum out there too. I don't come out too often cuz I have to drive over 2 hours to get there but I like to try different spots especially when my favorite spot has about 10 Gators now per area lol. Thanks for the video your content is great as usual including the drone footage. Ate my crabs that I caught while watching your video today of you crabbing at the same place where I caught the ones I was actually eating at the same time. Haha pretty funny. Stay safe!😊
I love cleaning mine all the way 1st.Cause when I season them I like to dig right in.I've never crab before. But I really want to go crabbing...I'm in Palm Beach Florida
@@CrabbingWithTony yeah my hubbs said there is a spot or 2 in Palm Beach I truly want to Crab...I know your crabs are very tasty.I follow your wife SherikaB that girl know she can cook
Heyllo Tony I have never heard of that kind of mantis shrimp...but I been eating blue crabs my entire life. The best crab ever. Thanks for dropping them basket.Your meals always look delicious
@@CrabbingWithTony Here in VA, the water is still "warm". Probably not like Florida warm, though. My family likes to camp and so we went camping in Cape Charles. I had read early on that due to the location of the inlet where the pier is, that larger male crabs probably would not be present because it was too far removed from the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay?
awesome video as always. what is the garlic butter seasoning you put on the crabs.. I am going to try that next time on mine :) Thanks so much for the videos! Ps. you look like you are getting empty on the Jo's so I am sending you some more :)
I was crabbing late November in Northwest Florida on a bayou in four feet of water with thirty nets. I made a run and got blanked. My crabbing partner wanted to move the nets to a different part of the bay, but I decided to move them into deeper water of ten to twelve ft. The next run we caught 27 crabs. They move deeper along the drop offs in Winter. We caught them like this all the way thru February. We were in a boat, but I have found bridges that I crab from that have deep water.
Hey! I love your channel!! I live in Miami and I would love to catch a crab but I don’t think I am going to the right places because my net is always empty! Lol! Do you have spot/area suggestions in the Miami to Key Largo area?
Tony looks like you caught some monsters out there making me want some seafood were still trying to get right from Milton I’m in Tampa Florida continue keeping us in your Prayers
Hey Tony, I love your crab videos....I started crabbing last year June 6, 2023. I try to crab at least 6 days out of the week...I have so much fun doing this. I am 70 years old and this is a great hobby....I also like your crab butter you created...It makes your crabs look so delicious...I am surprised the restaurants are not trying to get in on your crab butter....Keep making those videos.....Hats off to you....
thanks for the content bro, hadn't seen a mantis shrimp... interesting read! apparently, it can poke a hole in an aquarium glass... also does a mean job on a finger but are edible. cheers
Visiting from md. Stopped by your spot. Would love to catch some. Another viewer of yours was there. Small crabs or none. Maybe the storm caused them to scatter
