Hello. As far as the orientation goes does everyone that has ownership in the facility thats being opened have to attend an orientation session or will one person going suffice

Wow! That's crazy how this is taught good. I used to work at the ARF before and they only hire 1 staff every shifts. Crazy administrator who is literally handling that business. And they are all level 4i. I was yound back then. Thos was 7 yrs ago. And we have only 2 shifts lol. That's how they kill thier staffs!!!

Me and a partner want to open a GH in the LA area. I’m a soon to be retired teacher and he’s a building contractor. You look like a guy we need to be dealing with.
I’m from LA but buy out of state where the price to rent ratios are 6 to 7. Way more bang for the buck. Then take that income and rent in a city like LA where the ratios are higher than 33. What that means is that with about 250k (cash no mortgage) I can net 4500 a month and with very low property taxes, but in Los Angeles I’d need about 1mil to do that and property taxes would be 8x as much. Buy out and rent in.
Does the experience have to be in a residential “home” or can it be obtained in facility setting owned and operated by a large corporation or company i.e Sevita or Redwood
He missed VALUABLE steps and info. I just went through the process. Step 1. Start non profit- that's the ONLY way it can be run Step 2. Go to orientation for certificate Step 3. Type your program statement and plan of operation Step 4. Register as a vendor Need mental health plan Step 5. Need to become accredited which is a minimum of 15k State application is $908 Whole process takes 1-2 years Also...you'll be required to have 3 months operating funds which is minimum of 200k

Could you expand on the point of gaining experience at a facility? You’ve stated that it is a prerequisite prior to getting access to the regional center orientation, but I wasn’t able to find this in writing anywhere. Is it just a recommendation? Also what kind of roles specifically were you recommending for the experience?
I’m confused about the owner part the house can’t be under your name so how do you get it under your business name can you help what’s the way around it
I went to orientation, and they said the home can't be under your name. It needs to be under your business name. How does that work? Do you need an LLC?
