You explain everything like a pro ..

You should’ve used a 99-02 center console. Then you’d have 3 charger ports instead of only two, & the console lid has a lock on it. 99-02 consoles also have a cassette player which can be removed & replaced with a 2nd storage pocket.

my 2001 2500 hd has 2 plugs on the back of the radio 1 goes to the body module if you just plug up a radio the guages stop working

Mine doesn't fit like that. My truck is an 01 extended cab and I took the console from an 04 ss silverado. Think because the piece under the radio is still in my truck. I'll try to get it fixed. Crazy I've been rocking it like for years and was too lazy to see what everyone else was doing to overcome this issue
