I have a 98 yz250 2 stroke. Previous owner must have hit something very hard because the front rim was so bent that when moving it, the tire would rub the front shocks. I'm having a similar issue. But mine is occurring as I'm hitting the powerband. The bike will act like it's starving for fuel and after a few quick twists of the throttle it'll go back to full power - resulting in the front wheel coming off the ground. I'm going to pull the carb off this weekend and give it a good cleaning. Fingers crossed that I find some green goo. Otherwise I might be looking towards checking out the power valve. I'm new to 2 stroke dirt bikes/ bikes in general. I purchased it 2 months ago and have slowly been replacing parts. I'm a diesel mechanic and love tinkering with small engines. I'm open to any suggestions.

What was the point of putting the second bracket on the positive post? Just asking, not criticizing. Was it simply because he was going to clip the test light to it, but then changed his mind?
This doesn't work on all vehicles. What with ecu's , relays, etc. Your system will still show short due to making a loops in the vehicles complex electrics, without actually having a short. It works best on older less complex vehicles.
I have a problem if someone can please help me I have a 2000 gmc c3500 dump truck that’s been sitting for a while and my dash doesn’t come on with the turn of the key only occasionally it will come on but go back off and my truck will just turn over. I tried to troubleshoot the relay by bridging the negative and positive but it still won’t crank can someone tell me if the relay is bad would troubleshooting not work?
Thanks. I used a smoke machine to find any vacuum leaks on my 98 Pathfinder 3.3L (am having random mostly mild misfires at RPMs above 2,000). There seems to be one coming from the bottom of the distributor, like where it rests on the block. Is there a seal there that can leak air? Or somewhere very near it? I can't see exactly where its from.
I have an 04 Silverado 2500 HD that has this annoying alarm on as soon as I hit 5mh. Now the thing is the door hinge is bad on the driver's door. Do you think this is the issue?
I’ve got a 2017 ktm 150, a powerful hard-to-tune monster of a bike. Mine is spitting and sputtering in low rpm’s, especially in first and second gear. Out of those gears, in third, fourth and fifth, at high rpm’s, it runs fine …………until like 5 mins later when it bogs and wants to die. Any ideas?
My 95 Tahoe’s speedometer goes to 100 and doesn’t move back down, rpm’s start maxing out once hitting the gas, fuel level drops and won’t adjust until you’re driving….. anyone might think of a solution?
