wrapping your checked in luggage became popular when there was lots of cases especially in Philippine where corrupted airport officials were planting bullets or drugs in your luggage to extort $$ from tourists. It was so bad to the point that Philippine president warned those corrupted officials (they even had nickname, crocodile) that they would be executed if caught without trial. That and some stealing valuable inside luggage
Life should be full of giggles! Love my mum and dad. Love my sultan. Love istanbul! Please like, comment and subscribe if you like giggling too!! We would be so grateful 🤍 Terima kasih banyak xoxo
Hi Sam and Dika, sorry to bother you again. I would sound so dumb, but I'll ask away anyway. I believe it's better to ask than being uninformed. I saw you wear jewelries during the flight. Last time I travel/flew was more than 2 years ago and I can't remember if at that time I was wearing my gold wedding band or not. My question is, when you entered the airport and were checking in at the airport, did you have to take off your jewelries or not to pass the security check? I have read some articles, that it's okay to wear jewelries if they are gold. But other metals will cause beep beep beep sound, something like that. But my gold ring is only 14K, and that means it contain other metals, hence my stupid question. Please advise (per your experience, of course). I have gained a lot of weight the last 2 years, and my fingers got bigger, and my wedding band is now quite tight, so if I have to take it off at the airport, it would be a hassle. :-)
No don't worry!! You're not bothering me at all!! And you do not sound dumb!! No such thing as a dumb question!! I am the same!! Better to ask for peace of mind!! Yes, we both wear jewelry and both have our wedding rings, but ive never had to take it off ever before. It's always usually fine!! Never buzzes. But even if something did buzz, it would be fine anyway, as long as it is harmless of course and you're innocent ha :) you will be fine 🙂 good as gold!
@@marriedtomowgli I'm glad you don't find me dumb, LOL. Thanks a lot for sharing your experience. So I guess I'll wear my wedding band when checking in at the airport. 🙂
Hello Sam and Dika, I know my question has got nothing to do with your today's vlog. But can you please tell me, when you arrived at Indonesian airport, did they tax your laptop and other electronic gadgets? I'm coming to Jakarta from Singapore next month with my husband (I am Indonesian and husband is Canadian, we live in Singapore). Please reply my comment, I am desperate to know the answer as I've read so many different infos out there in some forums. I'm still confused if we can or we cannot bring into Indonesia when it comes to electronic stuff. I'd like to know your personal experience, if you don't mind.
Hello Olivia! Nice to meet you! Aww lovely that you are coming back home! Oh my god, i am not an expert and not 100%, so please i could be wrong, but as far as i know, laptop and all other electronic gadgets are fine to bring into Indonesia! We have never had any problem. Our stuff is all for personal use. But i think now, they have changed the rules for bringing in imported phones! You can bring them in, and use a telekomsel sim for 90 days for just data, and keep renewing it, as far i am aware, but if you want an indonesian number, and to use your phone as normal with imported phone, i believe you now have to register the imei number and pay an amount of tax to customs, according to the type of phone you are bringing into the country! I don't know exact rules and regulations, but this is what i can gather from forums that have discussed it! But you can use your phones as normal simply connecting to wifi's! It's only if you want an indonesian phone number i think! But please, don't take my word for it, i am very confused myself!!! I only use wifi connections! All other gadgets as far, as i am aware, are fine! They are trying to stop black phone markets apparently! I did see an office with a sign for imei registration at Jakarta airport, but again, im sorry, im a bit useless as i do not use an indonesian phone number, so i don't have any experience! It's a very new thing, so i don't think many people know about it :( so sorry, i don't think that helps at all, im a bit confused too!! If you do find out Olivia, please do let me know! I know there are many of us confused about this! And if anybody can help Olivia and me on this subject, please also comment below :)
@@marriedtomowgli Thank you so much for your long reply, I really, really appreciate it. Don't worry, I will double check again about the regulations before we go. Our phones are for personal use too and they are not new phones, each of us only has one phone. About Telkomsel, that's good to know, I will look it up for more info. :-)
Please open indonesia 🤍💔 Thank you for watching this video 🇮🇩 Praying for my husband, my local indonesian friends and family, and everybody around the world, that soon this all ends 🙏
Hugs and Kisses!! 🤍 Please like, subscribe and comment below to say hello 🤍 where are you hoping to travel to soon? Please come back to Indonesia when it's open 😭🖤
Great video, keep up the good work! Really enjoyed it. What camera and editing software are you using? Also I have just made one of my first travel vlogs in Rome - would appreciate if you could give it a watch and leave any feedback. Thanks again, for the great video 😊
Thank you so much Joshua!! Actually, i just use my phone!! Nothing fancy!! Im a very basic person ha! Ahh amazing! I love Rome! Hope you had fun! Definitely, i will check it out! 🙂
Hope you enjoy 💋 Beautiful traditional British day out at the Beach in the height of Winter ❄😌🇬🇧 Please like and subscribe if you enjoy it 🙏 And comment below, we'd love to say hi! 🥰
Really nice video! However I'm afraid the queen wouldn't have been in when you went (why she didn't come out and say hello 😂). The royal sovereign flag fly's when shes in and union jack fly's when she is out. Super video though, made me laugh on a few occasions.
Thank god for that! I thought it was a bit rude not greeting a fellow queen from essex! 🤣 you learn something new everyday! Thank you! And thank you for watching, we are so very very grateful!!
I'm coming home!!! It's been 3 years since we've both been in my home of London! I hope you enjoy this video or our precious memories, including bringing mowgli to big city life! Please like and subscribe! We would be truly grateful!!! 🤍
