Using quick adjustments! Press left on the d-pad twice to bring up the defensive line icons. To adjust the defensive end, select the player you want to change using the icon above his head. Then, you'll move the left stick, left, for the adjustment.
Pregame package substitutions, situation mode (these things were on PS2 Madden), online practice, tone down the overpowered dive tackle, fatigue penalties for no huddle abusers (5+ plays).
There are two options... 1. Complete the set in MUT for "Alternate Playbook". This is a random alternate playbook so not a guarantee. 2. Buy the playbook from the auction house. As long as someone is selling the playbook, this is typically your best, and most cost-effective choice.
I've been playing this game for years and years and it's amazing I just recently started practicing intensively and the amount of stuff you learn is amazing LMAO😅😅
We're also interested to see what direction CFB takes this year regarding that! Dynasty has always been a huge mode for CFB games, and with new modes like Road to the College Football Playoff, it'll definitely be interesting!
😂 I tried that before. But I kept getting flagged. It will work until you’re opponent just throws it to the receiver that you are jamming. I kept getting called
If your user has a responsibility to cover a WR , you are helping your opponent out. Being able to user a free defender and taking away first open read is far tougher to beat than having 4 threats to throw to and one being taken out of the play
I'm so glad abilities are gonna be more like badges in 2k so these cheesers finally will have to learn to play the game instead of getting saved by overpowered abilities.
The game gets more arcade-ish towards the end of the year in MUT. I am not a huge fan as I want to play football not pokemon, however, the cards have definitely kept the game interesting and different from week to week. So the experience is not what I want for the whole year, but if you embrace that you are playing NFL Blitz for the last 2 months of the year, you can enjoy it a bit more
@@HuddleGG Yeah I think once people accept that then it's not so bad. This is the time of year we can start looking forward to College Football 25 and Madden 25. Throw all the Pokémon in there, I don't care, I'm waiting for the next year of football.
We ran the most popular Cover 3 in the entire game for this specific video actually. We have a full length video on the channel if you'd like to see the defensive play art as well. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FuxDfqJUvi8.htmlsi=Hp_NDAhvXggUJ5nr
Most people don't realize it's programmed like this. People never notice that the linemen only go so far back. It doesn't matter if they aren't blocking anyone they will not attempt to block a guy if the QB has dropped back too far.
What he doesn't mention and what most people don't know is that Madden is programmed to immediately have a rusher beat the line when you drop back too far.
Outside of the dumb quarterback movements that waste so much time, there are the receiver movements where they take themselves out of the play by running mindlessly to the sidelines or to the back of the end zone. The offensive line blocking is an area they will never make right. Deaf ears there! Would be nice to be able to pass the ball without the lurkers jumping so high in the air or the passing trajectory lowered to facilitate turnovers. Any hope?
@@kseo1230 the one area I truly believe will never, ever be fully fixed is the offensive line. Ever! The blurring of the gameplay started there. In professional football DT and ends rarely stop run plays especially on 3rd and 4th downs without the help of linebackers. Three things really blow my mind. It’s awful to see offensive lineman block like kindergartners. It’s awful to see linebackers intercept passes that go right to them with low trajectory passes. They don’t give them tackles which at least they might be able to make. They give them interceptions. Lastly, they have made interceptions too easy. Linebackers don’t have to move, they just stick there hands out. Defensive backs running upfield know where the ball is better than the receivers. If a developer has to alter the game this much it’s not football and cannot be true simulation.
Absolutely! The good news with C2 man is if they chase one of the drag routes, you typically have a wide-open gap up the middle to scramble with the QB. Because to cover all routes on the field, have 2 deep safeties, and user a drag across the field, they'll only be able to rush 3.
@@HuddleGG I don't usually double comment on a streamer's response, but yeah; scrambling QBs and full/halfbacks. Forget about the annoying three "backs" on the field.
you can base align, then go back to default alignment and it should fix your d line. Coverage wise you can just audible or use quick adjustments to formulate a different coverage shell.
@HuddleGG I haven't played against it but a guy in my league gives everyone problems for some reason and they told me base align wasn't fixing there defense
Base align is going to be very helpful if he's audibling around to different formations. The problem with base aligning at times vs Gun Monster itself, is you leave the screens open more often.
So I just pulled this up during a game today where HB William Perry was unstoppable. I did this and because he had angry runs and was 380 lbs he gained 5 yards every play. He scored with 8 secs on the clock. I through a bomb to get into FG range and tied the game. In OT I used this set up to slow him down and combined it with Sam Will Blitz (4-3 even 61) on 4th down to get the ball back and win the game on a FG.
