Hi, this channel was created by me to follow my experience of ordering, owning and modifying a 2023 Mach 1 Mustang in Spain. I will show you some of the mods I have done and make videos of the places and events I visit in my Mach 1 here in Spain. Thanks for watching.
Hi, no problem, my wheels still look like new after 8 months and I have no issues cleaning the brake dust. As a quick clean you can actually vacuum any brake dust off using a soft brush head. Thanks for watching 👍🏼
After driving both and selling Fords for a long time, I went with the Dark Horse. People aren't big fans of the S650, but seeing it in person, driving it and truly experiencing it, I fell in love and had to get one. So I just took delivery of one with the Handling pack. Now, if I had the Mach 1, I don't believe I would get rid of it for the Dark Horse. At least until the day you can tune the new engines, then I think the new 5.0 would really show its colors
Quite happy with my 2022 Mach 1 with the Handling Package and 6 speed, had it out at Canadian Tire Motor Sport Track (Mosport) in Ontario, great fun for a guy at 67 years young.
Hi! I’m literally looking for a Mach 1 just like yours. I live in the area of Girona. By any chance, when (even if in a year or so) you decide to sell your Mach 1 I’d be interested in purchasing it. Not sure how to get in contact with you!?
@@zeksel1 Hi, if I do decide to sell my car I will certainly let you know. For now I am enjoying it, puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. My email is ice-mach1@outlook.com, thanks for watching 👍🏼
(John from Texas) I just acquired the exact same car you have, and I love it. I've watched every video you've made so far and subscribed as well. I want to do many of the mods you've completed, and I appreciate you sharing your journey with us! Regarding the rear wing, I definitely want mine painted Fighter Jet Gray like yours. May I ask what brand rear wing you purchased? It looks amazing after leaving the gurney flap gloss black! Thank you, and please keep making videos!!
@@John-lw5vd Hi John, thanks for watching my videos. Sorry about some of them, I'm new to youtube and learning as I go. I actually created my account when I purchased my car and had to find the video package, learn how to use it. I will be making more videos of the car shows and travelling here. My next video in a few weeks is going to be a side by side at Ford with the new Dark Horse that has only just been released in Europe, I'm just waiting for a call from Ford. Regarding the rear wing, it's a genuine Ford Performance product as used on the handling package. I had it painted at Ford to ensure the colour was correct. Also, I'm taking the M1 on a road trip to Portugal in the beginning of August to a car event , please stay tuned for that. Thanks 👍🏼
Hi, it would be good to do that but as I live in Spain E85 is not going to be easy to get, I have not seen it offered here to be honest. Also the emissions laws are strict and I don't want an issue with the Ford guarantee so I can't fit hedders. I wish Ford would offer an official tune package for the M1 with ECU and other mods to boost the HP over 500. Thanks for watching 👍🏼
Hi, the DH is detuned for Europe so it looks like it's less HP than the Mach 1. I'm going to make a comparison video at the end of the month at my Ford dealership, please stay tuned, thanks for watching
God NO! Keep the Mach 1. You can get her up to 500HP very inexpensively. I went ahead and On3 Twin Turbo’d mine. Went from 500hp to 1105HP. But originally, with minimal upgrades to get to 500hp, it’s a very special car. Keep the Mach Sir!
I sold my Shelby GT350 wasn't using at the time but I'm looking to buy another mustang I'm looking at the Mach 1 because the price has gone down but will be a used one and my shelby i bought used and didn't like much that's why now im more inclined to buy a 650 new i just haven't decided if I'll go for the Dark Horse or get a premium GT and build my own The more you look the 650 the more you will like it even the interior you have to see in person and also upgrades will come in the future don't worry ideal you be to keep the mach 1 and get a 650 maybe just the GT
@@marcosspenner8418 Hi, I am actually going to my Ford dealer at the end of the month because he has given me access to film a new DH that will arrive then. I'm going to do a side by side video, please stay tuned, thanks for watching
Hi, firstly thanks for your service. I love driving and owning my Mach 1, puts a smile on my face every time I go out in it. It's so interesting to see people's reactions to the new Dark Horse. I applaud Ford for keeping up the V8 engine cars where other manufacturers have stopped production. I Hope Ford will make some changes to the interior of the car and maybe bring back the Boss. I'm in the same position as you as I'm not a young guy but I have a few American cars on my bucket list I would really like to own and enjoy driving. Thanks for watching my video 👍🏼
I will keep my 2022 Dark Matter Gray Metallic with the handling pack 6 speed for many years to come. I also have the 2024 GT Convertible Carbonized Gray Metallic 10 speed auto. I have seen the dark horse in person and it is a beautiful machine but it is not for me- simply put- I am satisfied with my 2 stangs. I plan to enjoy my convertible for at least another three years. My first car was a 1965 convertible corvette 327 engine with a blue hard top and a white soft top that I had for 21 years (sold and bought a house in Orlando FL). I am 67 yrs old former US Navy Submariner retired so I don't have time to procrastinate. The Mach 1 is special!!!
Hi, thanks for the info. I'm actually going to look at a DH at the end of the month as one will arrive at my local Ford dealer. I'm going to make a side by side comparison and hopefully a test drive so I can actually comment on the difference and likes / dislikes, thanks for watching 👍🏼
Nice car man! Not owning one at the moment but I hope I will quite soon so I am searching the web for inspiraton. What tire dimension are you runnng 305/35 or 30? And do you have lowering springs or is this the the standard Mach 1 Euro springs? Love the car!
Hi Johan, so I'm running MPS 4S 325 30s on the rear and 305 30s on the front, no issues. My car already bottoms out every now and again on speed ramps and slopes so no way you could lower it further without having issues and damaging the spoilers, thanks for watching 👍🏼
Since they don't offer the Handling Package in Europe, could you please tell us how you managed to upgrade your Mach 1 to the handling package ? Did you import all the needed parts one by one from USA, or what needs to be done ? They are doing the same thing for the S650 platform, there is no handling package available for EU version of the mustang... I personally would like to get it simply for the bigger wheels and the gurney flap on the spoiler, but they simply aren't available for Europe... i am forced to receive a 255/40 R19 and 275/40 R19 wheels, compared to 305 and 315 from the handling pack.... such a pity!!!
@@goguasha Hi, I actually got everything I needed to upgrade my car from Nemesis UK and shipped it to Spain. You can also get everything from Steeda UK, they ship out of Germany. Im sure they will both offer the HP for the Dark Horse, thanks for watching
Absolutely not. I wouldn’t trade in my GT for a dark horse. Every control is on the touch screen and the ugly big button. It’s also not worth the additional $ for the minimal horsepower increase. Buy a slightly used Shelby instead.
Absolutely not. I love my Mach 1. Especially the interior. It’s more Mustang to me. I like the retro, old school look to it. It’s just more my taste though. And taste is relative I suppose. I think the Mach 1 is perfect.
Hi Phil, the M1 is the last performance version of the S550 and Ford really did a great job. I think as EVs are phased in these cars will become more sort after, thanks for watching 👍🏼
Hi Jony, how's it going. Some people are saying that the M1 could be the last real modern muscle car and I agree with them. I think this is a modern collectors car due to its ability to be tuned and it's design. Thanks for watching the video 👍🏼
@@icemach1964 Exactly. Just because it is new does not mean better. Your car is fantastic and Will be worth more than the S650 in a couple of years. I have a JF grey M1 and Will never Jump on that DH train.....enjoy it. Cheers
Looks like the darkhorse learned from the Elantra N and got the great screen. Hopefully it has all the tech and gauges to track performance, too. I'm thinking about buying a darkhorse and since I'm in the US it seems like the right thing to do.
i did the research as well and the Dark Horse is definitely a better car, especially with all the upgrades in it ( you can research them as i will not list them. We can't get the track package but you can get the the Appearance package which is better than the standard Dark Horse. i came extremely close to buying a Mach1 exactly like yours but opted for the Dark Horse in the appearance package. Both great cars 100% but if you are going to compare engines and upgrades, the Dark Horse is better. And yes, you will be able to tune them down the track, as info came from inside information. Either way, enjoy your car, it's a beauty.
@@cmdrdredd i know, that is not what i said, read my comment again. i said it will be able to be tuned in the future, this is inside info from a Ford technician.
@@wadeayoub9799 Hi, yes the Gen 4 engine is updated. Sad about the 45HP power loss in Europe. Let's hope Ford offers a tune or supercharger the car, thanks for watching
It really depends on whether you prefer the looks of the DH. Performance will likely be better with your Mach 1 since you've upgraded to HP. Its really a subjective decision. I prefer the Mach 1 ... exterior, interior and value.
@@timgenz2849 Hi, to be honest I would need to drive a DH to answer that. I am hoping to locate one here and maybe get a trust drive, stay tuned, thanks
If you're happy with the Mach 1 I'd keep it. I don't know anything about the darkhourse but even if it's a little better than the Mach 1 you can't utilize that much power on city streets.
I agree. I’ve taken my GT on the autobahn in Germany. Honestly, 450 horsepower is great even without speed limits. There’s still traffic so you can only do so much.
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yyfYaF9Vabk.html&si=Q1Xy9DkHXHVGEdWv I just saw this on you tube, not sure you know this guy but he is very famous on you tube and also driving for Steeda😊
I agree if you have a Mach1 don't upgrade to a darkhorse but in my case as I do not have a Mustang yet, I'm thinking about buying the Darkhorse. I vist Garum Motor in Malaga and they had a darkhorse deliverd in september but they also told me that they could order one from Ford Germany in the color I would like with a maximum waiting time of 3 months. They also gave me an price for the darkhorse in grabber bleu 75.007€ no recaro seats but with all the taxes included. I have the estimate if you want I can always send you a copy. As for discount they offered 4 years warranty en 4 year of service free
@@patrickfabrie1573 Hi Patrick, good to hear from you. I would take what the dealership say with a pinch of salt, they told me 8 months that ended up being 1 year and 4 months! I'm sure you can get 5 years guarantee, they gave me 7 years on my car. I would like to actually see one, I will ask the dealership and maybe make a video of it, thanks 👍🏼
@@seandevereux2161 Hi Sean, I have had many American cars and regretted selling most of them. I need to see the Dark Horse but I don't think the Mach 1 will be leaving my garage. Thanks for watching 👍🏼
@@iamkingrichard2032 Hi, I'm really happy with the Mach 1, there is nothing about the car I would change apart from a Ford dealership tune if that was available to get a bit more N/A power. Just exploring the options. I really need to see a Dark Horse to be honest. Thanks for watching
