So thankful you made it home safely. I know your followers there are happy you are back. We were blessed you were able to spend time with us at Bargersville. God bless you and your beautiful family
Thankful for this update. She is beautiful! Your story while challenging definitely is a testament to God's providence. When I saw your journey was funded in under 6 hours months ago, it was such a sweet reminder of our family coming together all around the world. Prayers for your family as you all re-adjust and keep working for the kingdom.
Yay! So happy you all made it home safely and with your healthy baby girl. We are so happy that you are able to continue your work in SL - We love you and your family!
Blessed Good Friday. Congratulations on your daughter. Stay encouraged. You're a great encouragement to me due to starting the mission home in SL and planning to move there. On your next video can you talk about laws regarding how long you can stay and changes since covid. I was there in 2022. You really are an encouragement to those of us entering the Mission field. Stay blessed and love to your family.
Never look at your own limitations. Have faith in God. You can always provide prayer and fasting support and that is absolutely 100% critically important.
Why don't you guys go to europe to do missionary work? We have enough problems in our country and for you people to come to our country to exploit it with your smoke screen missionary is disrespectful to us and our ancestors. Please go to your own homeland with your work
This shouldn't be a topic for discussion? Preaching the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST in Africa, especially in the Rurals is quite challenging and therefore the need of supports is high demanding for both local and international Missionaries. I could remember when our church was persecuted by the Muslim community, God uses the beloved Christians in America to restore and rebuild back our church. Supportive to one another locally and internationally is all parts of God's Plan.😊❤
Hi Dan, nice to hear from you again. You are right, when being told by others what fabulous things you do, it can lead to pride, but when we put God first, we will manage to stay down to earth 💪😊! Something that would really interest me as a person working in a charity sector in SL is how successful you were teaching Sierra Leoneans the rules of life based on the Bible cos my experience with them often is that even though they seem to be very religious and when you ask them how they are, their response is: Thank God, I am fine. Acknowleding the higher power first ... But when it comes to how they lead their lives, it has nothing to do with Christianity. I am not saying everybody is like that, but they are very corrupt, don't have a problem to use a lot of lies to achieve what they want to achieve... These are reasons why God uses people like you... Were you successful in changing their characters? Cos I myself am trying to teach them that what they believe and how they behave are 2 different things... Often the reason for their lies is poverty and wanting to again more, but I keep telling them it's wrong to achieve this through lies, honesty is much better, sincere talk and then we will see what we can do about it, but discovering we were lied to doesn't motivate me to help more ...
I wish we could have seen you while you were here with you family, but it was still great to see you at camp when I picked up Andrew and dropped off Rebekah. You'll be in our prayers❣🙏☺
Thanks Dan for showing up again. I have been wondering about the long silent from your end. I am glad you had a good time refreshing up for the next phase. Hopefully I will be visiting Sierra Leone by early September, I will visit you when I come to Bo town.
Your observations are practical and can/should be applied domestically as well (as you touched on in your personal example of Boston). The U.S. is a big place, and as church membership dwindles in the U.S. culture, there are numerous population centers in need of the gospel.
