Everybody asks why there hasn’t been a Chinese World Champion by now. The real question, given the popularity of the game, why hasn’t there been an Indian World Champion?
Because the World snooker tour is expensive and Asian countries like India and Thailand can't afford to stay in the UK for two years even if they get a wildcard entry. Snooker is more popular in Thailand than India.
